Are you talking about the ones I quoted from AmanteNJ? If so I'd love to know what your Scheduler and Limit Clock to settings are.

Sio 1200. 900 & 600 unchecked

1200,1120,1000,800,400,200,100 U have all those checked correct? Im gonna try this, In theory I should get great battery performance. right doesnt that make sense that -50 is better than -25 or am i wrong?

1200mhz: 1300-50=1275mV
1120mhv: 1300-50=1275mV
1000mhv: 1275-50=1250mV
900mhv: 1275-50=1225mV
800mhv: 1200-50=1150mV
600mhv: 1175-50=1125mV
400mhv: 1050-75=975mV
200mhv: 950-75=875mV
100mhv: 950-75=875mV

Correct but the overclocked ones don't like being undervolted as much, and when I'm pushing those higher clock speeds I want it to run flawlessly

Drgk5Rq

See, it doesn't spend much time at the higher speeds anyways

I saw that you were using SPU Spy, so I went and snagged it myself. I didn't even know that it existed. Is it best to clear your timers every day to see your daily activity?

I clear them every time I restart my phone

I have to say that I tried these setting last night after my battery was 100% (bump charged) and I even ran the Battery Calibration tool too. My phone dropped from 98% overnight to 73%. Now, this could be that in my bedroom there is LOUSY cell reception and it was polling all night but even this morning my phone still dropped at a rapid rate. I just charged it again and will see what happens this time... I still can't see how anyone gets over 12 hours never mind the reported 24+. Not saying it isn't happening I just have given up on it happening to my phone.

You have to give it 2-3 full charges and discharges before you notice any difference

+1 u do need to do that, been there done that, still bad battery. Think my battery itself just sucks might need to get a new one:(

Noob questions:

1. Does this thread apply to using Voltage Control app from the market - or only the ComRom kernel?

2. Does this work with the ComaVolt kernel?

3. What kernel is ComRom using - and is it available as a stand alone kernel?

4 . Are there other kernels this works with? (recommendations)

I'm currently running the ED01 debloat (with a stock ED01 radio) and imuts -50 kernel. I'm pushing ~20-24 hours of bat life right now, mostly in airplane/wifi mode. (we have lousy cell signal at my home). .. and of course I'd love to push it more, especially in the 'real world' of using the device for phone calls.

Thanks for your patience.

1. Voltage Control works with any Kernel that is capable of being overclocked, not just the ComRom kernel

2. No, the comavolt Kernel is not overclockable

3. nemesis2all's OTB v1.4 and currently the latest version available as a standalone is version 1.3

4. This will work with any of the kernels that say they support overclocking in this thread:
[How To][Links] Themes, ROMs, Kernels, Boot Animations/Combined Resource: 5/10/11

So is the ComRom 1.3 using nemesis2all's OTB v1.4 kernel? .. and that is on the list in the link you provided?

Once again - sorry for being a noob.

Not a prob man, it's what we do here =)

CommRom v1.3 is running nemesis2all's OTB v1.4 Kernel which is not available as a standalone kernel, it's only available as part of the ROM. The only version of that kernel you can download by itself is v1.3

I used cpu spy to decide what frequencies my phone used the most. 16+ hours with relatively heavy use. Lots of web searching, a few calls, games, a couple, pictures. Etc. I am at 21%. Occasional lagging but nothing serious. I did loose all my score data for angry birds. I don?t know the cause of that glitch.
