VZW offering up to 50% off Pixel 2 and XL

I purchased a used S7 for TMobile from eBay for $150. I'm in the process of sending to Verizon to get $475 off my 2xl 128gb. I did the same last year with the Pixel and I traded in a iPhone 4s and got $200 off that phone.
 
How is it Verizon's black Friday prices haven't been leaked yet!! Their current promotion of 50% off ends tomorrow and I might have to grab it so I don't miss out on something. Someone please tell me if I should still hold out hope of a better BF deal

Like the previous one, it's still no good to me, because I don't want/need an unlimited plan. I'd consider it if they'd let me do it on a 5gb plan. That's more than enough for me.
 
Looks like no good deals on Pixel 2 for BF so maybe I'll jump on the 50% off trade in deal. Don't want to trade in my S7, but can't beat 50% off, even if it is bill credits. No plans on leaving VZ anyway
 
This is what I did. I will miss my S7 cause it was a great phone, but man the 2 xl is amazing.
 
It just seems like they would be dumb not to have a BF deal. U can't find the Verizon ad at all which makes me hope they are holding it close and might have a bad *** deal

It is pretty standard practice. Other carriers do the same thing. Most of their offers require you to be on the latest plan.
 
So I set up my trade in with VZW and they were trying to only give me $300 for a Samsung S7. I've been on the phone with several reps explaining that the promotion runs from 11/9 thru 11/22. They tried to tell me that I have 14 days from when I received the Pixel 2 XL to begin a trade in but 30 days to send in a trade in. Every rep I spoke with tried to tell me that I can only get $300 because of when I received my Panda XL, which was 10/31. I've been staying that I should get the 50% off trade in. I have someone I'm working with that will hopefully result in a 50% trade in. If not it will only be $300 off.

According to the ad, the unlimited plan is required for Black Friday's 50% deal.

Not the deal they have going on right now though through 11/22. If you trade in certain devices such as the S7, you get 50% off and don't need to pick an unlimited plan. Since I have a S7 the current deal is much better to me so I dont have to switch to an unlimited plan

As I already said, that's not the deal I was referring to. However, I will point out that when I asked a Verizon agent about the deal you are referring to (via online chat), I was told that it was also only for the unlimited plan. Maybe she was wrong, but that is what I was told.

I have it in my cart right now and was able to select my Large plan. So they were wrong. Do what you need to do. All i am saying is their deal I can take advantage of by tomorrow is to trade in my S7 to get 50% off. I like that better so i dont need to pick an unlimited plan. Good luck on your quest for a 2 XL
