Way too many issues, who's jumping ship once S22 Ultra launches?

Thought I remember hearing in one of the many videos that there's an update expected that will improve camera ... It may only be for night mode though. Wish I could remember which video, but I've watched so many LOL

I can't cancel my order although it hasn't shipped, so I know they must be close to sending me a tracking number. Honestly, I can't rememeber the last time I was so blah about receiving a new phone. Probably because it doesn't appear to be a major upgrade over the S21U, which is sitting in a drawer and seriously not sure I am gaining anything except a lesser camera than the P6P which is $300 less.

For some reason camera quality has continued to climb up the desired wants list for me over the past couple of years and seeing that this isn't a big upgrade over the S21U and knowing the frustration over that release and the camera, it is just a meh.

I shouldn't have much issue selling it, if I decide to go that route, since shipments are being pushed back. Of course return is an option.

I'm still excited to play with the S22U, but still have that lingering doubt about the camera. As I mentioned above, I do this every year - get Samsung's latest offering and end up returning it. The last one I spent any significant time with was the Note 10+ and even then I was swapping out the SIM with my Pixel 3 pretty often; especially if we were going somewhere I knew that I'd want to take indoor pics.
We'll see how this goes ... Perhaps Samsung will surprise us this year!

Exactly, I wasn't referring to a specific phone, but there is always a fix or an update. The vacation test is critical. When you are going on vacation and can only take one phone, which one would be packed.

Same here. Love my P6P and intend to keep it. And yet, I ordered the S22U for no good reason other than I enjoy new gadgets.

I'm debating on it. My 6pro has developed a new issue of randomly rebooting, then taking like 2-3 min to stop freezing before I can use it. Got to love that Google QA...

I went with the white 512GB

Jury is still out as to whether I'll be keep the S22U LOL. I'm hoping to really like it,and if I do I'll likely try and sell the Pixel, I'm not really a two phone/SIM swapping kinda guy.

So I kept my S8 for two years. Then I kept my S10 for two years. I was actually proud of myself. Then I got the S20 FE from T-Mobile. Then I got the S21 Ultra from Samsung. Then I traded in my FE for the Pixel 6. The FE was just sitting in a drawer anyway, right? Old habits/lack of willpower. So two phone guy, one SIM here.

Hahaha!!! Sounds like you're getting an addiction, like many of us. Hard not to trade when Samsung has such generous offers... You get the 22U?.. I actually had another phone in my rotation (pixel 5). Regretfully, I gave that to a friend. Damn, I miss that phone!

I did install Android 12L beta a few days before and I got to say it's way better than the android 12 builds. For one it feels way snappier and polished experience overall. I have seen similar experiences with others, so those who don't mind beta builds give 12L a go.
