In my car, I typically mount my GS3 to a suction cup accessory and plug in power and a headphone jack that goes to a cassette adapter (unfortunately, I have an older car that does not have bluetooth, so this is the only way for me to pump audio to my car audio system)...
Once in a while, when my Waze GPS app tries to speak the next set of directions, the audio moves from my speakers (via the headphone jack) to the GS3 back speaker... After that, all audio is transferred to the back speaker until something triggers it to go back to the headphone jack... In my case, if I am playing MP3s over my GS3, the current song will play through the back speaker of the phone until the song changes to the next track, and that act seems to transfer the audio back to the headphone jack (and as a result, back to my car's audio system).
Anyone know what's causing this behavior? It's irritating as hell...
I have resorted to muting Waze so that it doesn't trigger the audio switchover for now...
