Welcome To The (newly redesigned) Android Lounge ?? (The Entertainment Spot)

What's goin on here... the lounge has been empty since last night. I'm loosing business here.

I'm considering selling or closing down. :(

Time to watch american pickers and flash the CM nightly i missed from last night

I wouldn't do that - you'll miss the weekend rush.

Yea, you might be right about that. However, if I don't see more people in here - I might consider selling. :(

Ps. Selling price is $500,000. :S

Maybe a happy hour would help this place? Or hookers. Let's get some hookers in here.
LOLJK

I'm broke.

I'm broke myself - that's why I'm contemplating to sell the lounge.

Any bid?

I ban you... oops! Wrong thread.... Lol..lol

I change my mind igotsanevo4g.... I'm not selling. I'm getting a partner - with cash. :)

Ps. Android Lounge lives on. :)

Thanks!

Gotta be on my best behavior now hehe ;)

I have a question about those badges: how are they earned? I see no correlation with post count (which is great because I've seen people with very high post counts giving horrid advice on other forums), and it seems like most anything else, besides the number of thanks you get, wouldn't be obvious to the forums system. Is it something that one must apply for, and prove why they've earned?

We base it off of a correlation of things. To be fair to everyone here on the forums I won?t go through the entire process behind the decision making, but we do take a look at how helpful someone has been and that they are not defamatory towards other members and such ? it?s also dependant on if we feel there is space for it. Obviously it wouldn?t be effective if half of the active member base was an advisor or moderator. It?s a very impartial process

That makes sense, especially in that it wouldn't be effective if everyone was a moderator or an advisor. So, the process is the same for titles such as "android expert", etc.?

You get to be an Android Expert, Professor, Guru, etc. when you reach a certain post count. Badges cannot be earned this way.
