We've got the LG G3, you've got questions...

I didn't mind the screen protectors on my Blackberry's since I didn't have to touch the screen, but screen protectors seem to alter the coefficient of friction just enough that I don't care fo them. Some of them make the screen not look so good either.

Sounds like you're talking about the plastic screen protectors. Tempered glass is like not even having one on. Seriously I forget 99% of the time I have the tempered glass screen protector on.

Oh man, I used to use $20 zaggs on my BlackBerry's. So silly.

I use any cheap o on amazon thats clear, not as good as naked, but doesnt phase me in every day use since my htc aria. True some dont look good though. Especialy matte, anti glare ones.

Yea, since its been awhile since I used a screen protector the Zaggs are really the only 'quality' ones I've been aware of. I wasn't familiar with these tempered glass ones. I'll definitely have to check out out for my next new phone. Although, it looks like Zagg has glass ones now as well.

Friday.

Does wireless charging standard in the US? Is there a difference in thickness of the back in wireless vs non-wireless charging phones that would necessitate different sized cases? Is the back real metal or plastic. Is it soft touch ore cold like metal?
Remains to be seen. For the Korean models it seemed to vary from carrier to carrier.
Is the camera better than the S5 camera?

Posted via Android Central App
In low light, I feel confident saying yes, it's better than the S5. Haven't ha the chance to test it in daylight yet.

Will the US carriers get the 3 gig of ram or 2?

Posted via Android Central App
Unclear yet.

Does it use a nano sim card?
Micro.

What about a comparison to the 1080 screen on the One M8?

Posted via Android Central App (Moto X)
The M8 screen still looks really good.

Have you been able to see how any game or processor intensive app works with the new resolution?
Not yet.

Does it have an IR blaster?

Posted via Android Central App
Yes, same place as the G2.

Probably not a question that can be answered yet but will the flatter software UI be officially updated to the G2?
No idea yet.

How glossy and slippery is the back panel? And is it a fingerprint magnet?
It's not glossy or slippery. And it's certainly not a fingerprint magnet.
How was their speaker? I have been spoiled by my M8 speakers.
Pretty good. BoomSound good? I'm not sure.
I've got a question that may or may not be important, Have they brought back the self healing back like in the GFlex?
Nope.
How's the display when looking at it during the day?

Posted via Android Central App
Seems pretty good. Need to test it some more though.

Just what is the back made of? I've read "metal", "plastic" and "metal skinned plastic".
Plastic with a unique coating. It's bonded with a special film.

Does the camera have a burst mode that shoots over 20 shots with full resolution? My wife's htc one x has this and seems all the newer phones stopped doing good burst shots.

It's super handy when trying to get a great shot of our 14 month old.
Burst mode lets you take up to 100 shots.

How locked down is the SD card?

As locked down as any KitKat device.

Ever rub your finger against a window? :) No thanks, I like Zagg's slight "orange peel" texture, it allows my finger to glide much more freely. A smooth surface is actually terrible as a touch/glide surface, you need texturing to avoid resistance.

Verizon was left off the initial carrier list but we know it's coming. Besides the extra protective coating (aka branding and logos), can we expect any other variances there like different rear buttons, maybe an 805, etc?

It does have a dual window mode, similar to the one of the G Pro 2

Yep, Dual Window mode is supported.

Overheating with high brightness?
Not that I've seen.

1) Nano Sim or Micro Sim ???
2) How would you rate the G3, M8 and Z2 when it comes to ergonomics and in hand feel?
3) How is the back cover? Is it thick and solid or flimsy? Is the cack cover creaking ?
4) Does this awesome display have any impact on performance? Did you notice any stuttering ? Have you ran with any incompatibility issues with certain apps ?
5) Does the 1W speaker really make a difference? How does it compare to the Z2 ?
6) I know it's too early but how does the camera compare to the S5 or Z2 ?

how does it feel?
1) Micro
2) G3 probably comes top. Or maybe a close second to the M8 if you can deal with its sliperiness.
3) Comparable to the GS5 on the version I have (olleh/KT)
4) Too early to comment on performance, since we're using a preproduction device.
5) Very similar to the Z2.
6) Less grain than the Z2 in photos, in general.
How is it compared to other flagships in terms of size? Does it feel like a phablet?

Posted via Android Central App
Nope. It really just feels like a phone.

Does it have led notification? if so, which colours?
I've seen orange and blue from it so far.
Does it have manual focus on the camera like the G2?
Yep.
-Is ART available in Dev mode ?
-How is the touch lag compared to a nexus
-Speakers compared to Z2 and M8
-Is the back self healing like the Flex ?

Thanks you !
1) Yep.
2) Not quite Nexus level, though as we continually point out, this is a preproduction unit.
3) Around Z2 level, I'd say. Need to test some more though.
4) No.

Notification LED?

Yep.

You talking about the Zagg plastic shield or glass?

Each their own. I'm extremely happy with my tempered glass. And yes we're very off topic here :)

Have you found anything in the UI for controlling the LED? Colors, blink rate, etc for different notifications? Is there any screen based notification like on the Droids or does it just have the LED?

Never tried the back panel button set up. How's that on a daily basis? Easy to get used to? Are they for all functions?

Can you set knock on so that you can just tap the screen once and it will come on or does it have to be a pattern?

Watching the presentation it looks like you can just knock to unlock but they encourage users to use the more secure knock pattern.
