what are the chances of Kit Kat ?

My wife has a samsung ACE 2 from 2 years ago, and Samsung just confirmed that its getting a Kit Kat update along with other models over a year old !
I wonder if Asus will follow suite with their relatively new Memo pad HD7. apparently Kit Kat needs only 512Mb of RAM and it has speed advantages compared to previous releases...
