People, why don't we wait before we assume Verizon won't get the N5.

I want to believe that with the hype of the N5 and success of the N4 that Google will do everything is their power to make sure All Major carriers get this device.
The fact that the N7 works on Verizon is a start.

Thought the LTE didn't work on Verizon?

It's not up to Google. In this case, it's Verizon being stubborn.

Incorrect, its up to Google, Verizon and the manufacturer who makes the phone.

This was my question about it.It's not up to Google. In this case, it's Verizon being stubborn.
This was my question about it.
After the iPhone 5 debuted unlocked and had the ability to swap between the four major carriers, I couldn't think of a reason why Google would build the N5 specifically without the capability of jumping on the VZW LTE network. It doesn't make sense, from Google's perspective, to deliberately neglect such a large part of the US market.
If the phone ends up not being capatible with the VZW network, I'd love to know Why's and Who's of the situation.
While this is mostly correct, I think google should have put in VZW's LTE band in anyway. The FCC mandates that VZW must allow any compatible device on its LTE network. Verizon could block the N5 from accessing the 3G data/voice network, but they could not stop you from getting a data only plan and connecting your N5. With VZW 4G so expansive this would have been a nice VOIP option. It's not up to Google. In this case, it's Verizon being stubborn.
