I'm hoping to switch to the Nexus from my Thunderbolt hoping this weekend. (If they let me upgrade a month ahead. Otherwise, I'll have to wait till next month still). :(

How bout you guys? :D

Trading WAY up from a Palm Pixi Plus.............will never choose form over function again. It was cute, but pretty much useless for anything except......well anything! Just finished ordering on VZW website. I was holding out on my new every two upgrade to get the Nexus. Hope it was worth the wait. I'll find out tomorrow :)

Surprised to see you hold it for that long. Hehe

Lemme know how it goes. :D

This is embarrassing, but I wanted to reply, so I regged this new account. Please welcome me to the smart phone world!

My old phone: LG Dare
Wife's Old Phone: LG enV2

Just purchased us both the Galaxy Nexus through Verizon Wireless.
$199 For Mine ($100 Upgrade Disocunt)
$249 for wife's.
Got a free newer basic for the daughter.

Switching from a Droid X here. I had an OG Droid, and used another line's upgrade to get the X. I thought it was a big enough jump in phone tech to justify it. Looking back, from a 4 inch 600 mhz slider to a 4.3 inch 1 ghz black slab of awesome it was worth it!

As badly as I've wanted a nexus since Verizon almost had the Nexus One, I almost feel that I should STILL wait for next years phones, as I believe the jump from dual core to quad in q3 q4 next year will again be huge. However by then I will be exited by next year's nexus, and the machine starts all over again! I tend to get a new phone every year anyways, and I doubt I'll ever stop that trend. :D

Droid X, I had recently put Liberty 3 on it and it magically felt like a new phone. Considering keeping it as a backup if I can't get much for it.

It's strange, but not so long ago, I used to think my Droid Charge was the bees knees.
It still is pretty not bad and I am shocked I am ditching a perfectly fine phone to get a new one.
C'est la vie.

Nexuuuus baby! In a few hours.

Droid Bionic

Nice to see Moto release an update for the Bionic the day before the Nexus comes out. Darn thing works great now. Oh well Im getting a NEXUS!!!
