What are you upgrading from and why?

Just ordered a graphite 64gb from google store. Im selling my note 4. All in all the note was a good phone, however lack of updates and that slight lag was enough to make me switch. I had a nexus 6 for a while but it was 32gb and kept me from holding onto it. Now with a 64gb nexus it should be a perfect match

I have been Samsung fan ever since my first samsung phone, S3, S4, Note 3, S5, Note 4. I Gave iPhone 6 plus a try after ridiculous samsung support and was the worst decision. I can't be any more happier to come back to Android. Nexus is the way to go. No way i am buying another Samsung.

HTC M8 I love this phone even though it has started to lag and battery could be a bit better but I would stick with it still with the camera was better I have hated the camera since the start I go to alot of events and it over exposes light so badly, im hoping the 6p is good for my use im only concerned about the size and it being an amoled screen

Upgrading from Samsung Galaxy S4 on Verizon to the gorgeous Nexus 6P on Project Fi :)
I am kinda tired of Samsung devices and of course all the manufacturer and carrier bloatware

HTC One M8. The M8's probably the best phone I've ever owned but we're finally at the point I've been waiting years for: you can get an unlocked Nexus phone that works on every U.S. carrier (including Verizon.)

I've been craving a pure Nexus experience that I haven't had since the GNex. I'm tired of having two apps on my phone for everything (calendar, messaging, etc.) as well as all the OEM bloat that I don't ever use. I'm loving the idea that my next phone won't have any Verizon bloat or unneeded OEM "features!"

I am coming from a Midnight Blue Moto Nexus 6 to the Aluminum 6P. I upgraded because I am dumb and shouldn't have spent the money because my Moto was still a good phone and was just as fast as this guy. But the new guy is way shiny and awesome and if I don't look at my credit card statement I don't feel as bad about it.

Also my wife got a 5X and I was jealous.

...I think that's about it.

Well...As the Penguin said, "I'm slow. I know. Get over it."

In the process of replacing a Samsung S3 with a Motorola/Google Nexus 6 XT1103, which arrived a few days ago. The meager 1.5GB of RAM on the S3 was killing me.

Currently running the Nexus 6 on Page Plus Cellular, a Verizon MVNO, but am going to try out Google's Project Fi. The N6 is brand new (sealed) old stock (NOS), under warranty, which came with Android 5.0 (LNX07M) installed, received several OTA's yesterday updating the OS to 5.1.1 (LMY48T). I am content to wait for the Marshmallow OTA, with no plans to flash or sideload anything. "I'm slow. I know. Get over it."

Ordering the Fi SIM in the morning. So far, very pleased with the N6 and it's performance and lack of bloatware.

Upgraded from Nexus 6 to Nexus 6P because I like having the latest Nexus. The 6P fits my hand better than the 6, has a better camera & fingerprint scanner which I hope the developers start using.

Decided to move from my HTC M9 to a 6P after the rave reviews and want something even bigger, a better camera, latest OS, and pure Google.

Decided to come back to pure android after being with Samsung for the last two years. Note 4 have me issues but the 5 has been really nice. Just want timely updates and true stock Android again.

Ordered my 6p after being disappointed with the 5x and returning it. Ultimately I'm moving from my Note 5. Samsung is to laggy and requires a restart every so often to speed it up.

From a Galaxy S6 because I miss stock Android, the S6 still lags, it lacks stereo speakers, it has a home button, I want faster updates.

Nexus from the gn, n4, n5, n6, and now n6p. I just recently picked up a turbo 2. The battery on that thing is insane, got 9 hrs sot on my first charge. But, it's so locked down, its pathetic. So the t2 goes to the girlfriend.

Samsung Galaxy s6 edge. Ibhad att and the phone became a pos after a month of owning the device. I am excited for the support you get with nexus phones, similar to what you get with apple.

I have had the phone for three days and I am very happy with the purchase. I'm a little disappointed that I won't recoup what I paid for the edge, but it is well worth the switch so far.

From a Nexus 6. Upgrading because I am a gadget geek and got to have the latest Nexus phone. Will be getting the Pixel C too, looks promising.

Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Well said. Me too. Bought the Nexus 6 a couple of months ago when it was dropped to $300. But when the reviews started coming in about how good the 6P is I decided to order it and will sell my 6. Oh, and I also have an iPhone.

My name is David and I have a gadget problem.

Possibly a 6S+ if this test run with the 32GB Aluminum I ordered on a whim goes well. I'm also using an  Watch with my phone so it's going to be hard giving up that pairing especially since Pay from the watch is so easy. Are there any Android Wear watches that will support Android Pay?

Coming from an iPhone 6 and I had a Nexus 5 before that.

I much prefer Android to iOS but I have to admit that Apple has nailed the form factor.

Moto X Pure Edition... Just because I have an addiction :P.

For me it's the Nexus 4. The immediate reason I'm upgrading is that Google is dropping official support, but I'm also just looking forward to the perks of moving from a three year old phone. Better battery life, better camera, better screen, LTE, fingerprint reader, better sensors, better speakers... better everything, really. Should be a treat.

I'm coming from the same device. My N4 had a dead spot on the lower part of the screen. And I was also looking forward to all those things. Such a huge upgrade.
