What are your favorite cases for the Galaxy S6?

Any issues with scuffing from the spring loaded clip or the holster itself?
So far, no. I'm fairly careful putting it in and taking it out, so I don't think scuffing will ever be an issue. Can't say for sure if you forced it in every time (rather than lift the spring clip) if ti would scuff the area of the IR blaster over time. Logic tells me it would, but so far I have been lifting the clip to put it in the holster.

Basically, I think if you always put it in and take it out with two hands, there will be no scuffing. If you always use one hand, I would think scuffing would be possible over time.

I was considering that but felt an exposed back was asking for damage. That said how is it going with yours so far?

Entering day 3 of using it, and I'm still really liking it. two minor concerns: First, when sitting in the car. I put the phone in a car mount but the holster stays on my belt. Sometimes I don't even think about it, other times I can feel it, either against the seat, or the seat belt, into my side, etc. With a little adjustment of it the problem is usually solved. Second, (also while sitting in the car) the holster has changed position (angle) a couple times. Not a big deal, but if you don't know it's happened and you go to put your phone in the holster you'll be surprised.

Minor concerns as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise I'm really liking it. It's a quality product. It's secure and I'm worrying less and less about the back being exposed on my side. It really is quicker / easier access than a pocket. I'm liking the protection it provides when I'm not using it as well as the easy access, while still being able to show off the phone when I am using it. If holsters work for you, I'd recommend this no problem.

How is the Tech 21 protection wise? It just seems a little pricey for such a thin slim case.

I've found it to be well above average. Of course there's no screen protection, but I drop my phone a lot on all kinds of surfaces with damage neither to the phone nor the case.

I also have the Tech 21 on my s6 and can 2nd your experience. The case does very well to protect the phone in a drop.

You can get the case for less than $20 on ebay.

TL;DR

I have the Defender series otterbox and love it. Much better than any other defender otterbox case I've had or seen for other phones in the past. I don't get the air bubbles and such between the screen and screen protector. It's not as bulky as their previous cases for other phones. It's thick enough to protect the camera. Love this case.

Mine is just the same as the day that I bought it. So far, no issues with the materials. In the past, in diction to being a little bulky, the silicone outer layer would lose its rigidity and become stretched out but this is not the case with this iteration.

Anyone that has a back on your case (which is 99% of you), have you checked recently to see if there is any scratching to the glass back yet? Assuming you didn't also install a back protector on the back of your phone.
