The hinge on the VRS Design opens the other way compared to the Spigen Slim Armor Pro. Not sure about the scratching issue others have experienced with the Spigen or other VRS Design cases.Does the hinge open the same way as on the Spigen? Do you think this case can scratch the phone similar as other VRS cases and the Spigen case?
I have no issues with swiping from the top or sides.Nice pics thanks for the share... How about edge panels can you get to them with swipe from side with phone folded?
Just received the VRS Design Terra Guard for my Z Fold 3. I like it. It has a matte finish, feels like it offers decent protection, looks rugged while not overly thick, and as of now is holding in place without stickers. Access to finger print reader and volume rockers is no problem. The hinge when opening and closing doesn't make any loud sounds and opens and closes smoothly. Well worth the $51.00 I spent.[]![]()
Everyone had their preference. I use the Duke e as my daily driver also. I don't think I could ever get used to that hinge bulk.It definitely adds "some" bulk to it but I want to start using this as my daily driver for a while and have my Note20 Ultra become the secondary device. I was using the official Samsung silicone case and it is a really nice case. I just wanted a bit more protection for my Z Fold 3.
To me that looks like a lot of bulk added. I'm just using the skin. The way I see it on the fold 3, it's a $200 or less risk. I got the year free insurance for pre-order, the deductible is $249 subtract $50 I didn't spend on case and I net spent $199 IF I drop the phone, and on top of that there's still a chance the phone will break if dropped with a case on it.
I've got the Spigen Slim Armor Pro, which also has the hinge protection.
Honestly, I don't notice the extra weight or bulk at all, love the hinge protection, (yes I've read of the issues with the spring in it coming off and scratching the hinge), and the hinge protector part actually helps me when holding the phone.

I think I read somewhere that the hinge protection actually scratched the hinge with the Slim Armor Pro. That would stop me dead in my tracks.
There are no negative reviews on this phone, just un-informed opinions.I've read the same, but I keep an eye on those springs.
if I let every negative review of a product stop me dead in my tracks, I'd never buy anything ever again... including this phone, which also has several negative reviews out in the wild.

Question folks. I'm really into super thin cases. I don't like the added bulk of even the Spigen thin fit. On a previous phone i had an almost paper thin like case as seen on the picture. Anyone knows if there's something similar for the Fold 3? Been trying to look around to no avail. Thanks![]()
Best bet will be either the Samsung Aramid or similar case like Latercase... You might also go with a skin no case.. Like DbrandQuestion folks. I'm really into super thin cases. Thank you. I've seen videos of the air skin and yes it's even thinner than the Thin Fit. It seems though that the holes aren't well aligned. The Spigen Air Case is even thinner than the Spigen Thin Fit.

I have a skin on the phone. I use clear matte skins on the back of my phones from gadgetshieldz. I order them from India. I've dbrand also before but I prefer the clear plain ones. I'll check out latercase. ThanksBest bet will be either the Samsung Aramid or similar case like Latercase... You might also go with a skin no case.. Like Dbrand
