What color is your case for your Honor 8?

I have a gold Honor 8 waiting for me in Florida. Get there Nov 8th and will use it a bit and if I like it will order a case.

Anyone have thoughts on what color case would look best? No red, blue or pink.

I was thinking gold but concerned it will look weird if a different shade gold. Maybe clear? I like a thin case but with an edge that keeps the screen off tables etc.

I would actually start with a clear case -it'd be a shame to cover up that gold.

Clear works. Also black or dark grey. I had a gold Galaxy s6 awhile back and it looked really nice with a gunmetal grey case. I agree, gold on gold would be too much.

I did get tempered glass but when they arrived this morning Amazon shipped me the wrong screen protector ugh!! So I reordered a different kind and they will arrive in a couple of days. I don't like using my phones without screen protectors on them. I'm dying to get them in as I can't handle a scrathed screen. Lol. It would drive me insane lol

They didn't offer you next day shipping? They offer me that when they mess up. But I also order over an order a day from them.

My only issue with the clear cases is that dust and dirt get under the case and it becomes a bit unsightly.

That is true. Another option is a bumper case rated at 11' with a protective back cover. That's what I have on my note 8

I really like Red cases for some reason but I've now decided that I'm going to return this 32g model and then wait until Black Friday to purchase a 64g model in blue like I originally wanted. If I'm keeping it long term I might as well get exactly what I want. B&H is sold out of the 64g so I'll have to get a refund and probably buy from Amazon but waiting until Black Friday makes the best sense since they will go on a heavy discount sell. I hate waiting that long but I'd rather save money then over pay when black Friday isn't too far off. I'll either get the blue or Pearl color but preferred Sapphire blue. I'll just keep using my axon 7 mini which I really like and wait it out so I can get exactly what I want and get it on sale too. I'd rather not wait but I know black Friday isn't too far off and I think it will be worth the wait to save possibly $75 to $100 bucks if I'm lucky. Certainly they will go on sale on Black Friday. Can anyone confirm my thoughts on that if they will indeed be further discounted on Black Friday?

Oh yeah that's not bad at all. If they will be around that price for a 64g then I'm going to return this one and wait it out to get the 64g for that peace of mind since I'll be keeping this one long term. I appreciate the information on that. That helps me to make my decision now. I guess I'll wipe this honor to get ready to send it back for a refund. I think overall I would be fine but it's a mental thing plus I really want the blue color so if I'm keeping long term I might as well get exactly what I want. Much appreciated.

Last year the honor 8 64gb was $224 for a short time... Might come back again at a super discounted rate but maybe only for a short time. If you are interested in getting the honor 8 at the lowest price then I would set up a deal alert on slickdeals.net or any other deal site that you want. Last year the 64gb deal probably only lasted minutes, maybe an hour tops.

I just ordered this combo a few minutes ago. I decided on regular smooth red as opposed to carbon fiber. The smooth red looks more in line with the smoothness of the phone. Here's a picture of what my phone will look like in a couple three days.

Here's an official honor made case I forgot I had that was made for the Pearl White color as the corners are silver. I'll definitely be using this case moving forward bc it will still show my red skin I ordered. I'm glad I remembered I had from a while back from one of the previous times I owned the honor 8
