I did it. After backing everything up I installed CM7 Nightly 1.06 using CWM. It only took about 10 minutes. Getting all my apps back on there took a little longer.
If I keep installing the nightly builds, do I have to re-install everything again or does it just update the ROM?
Congrats on joining the CM7 brigade. Nope, you don't have to reinstall all you apps every time you flash a new nightly. Just wipe cache partition, wipe dalvic cache, and install the new nightly. No full wipe necessary. All your apps will be just as you left them.
