What do you guys think of this font I found on XDA site

Yes, no one deserves any kind of cancer.
No they don't my friend. It's an evil sickness and a death sentence most of the time. So far my mom has survived a full year but medically speaking she has a zero chance of survival being that it's stage 4 but I tell her all the time she's going to beat it. I try and keep her spirits up.

It's not that I want it or like it it's more that I really have no choice as all companies are adopting this but yes I'm still against it and don't like it but say for example the Note 8 is on the larger side so it's not as severe as it was on my S8 5.8 inch screen. Does that make sense? So I'm say the larger the screen the less the 18.9 ratio makes such an impact to me. The biggest thing here is I'm after a larger screen device. If Xfinity mobile offered a larger screen device that was 16.9 ratio I'd go for it over the 18.9 so I still stand behind my statement but since I really have no choice yes I would still in fact use it but it's not going to be my daily driver most likely and I'd use it mainly for media and the S pen for notes which I've personally never owned a note before so I'm rather curious to test it out as I'm always a fan of testing new gear out. Overall I'm still not a fan of 18.9 as to me it makes the screen way too narrow but in the note 8 case it's so large that it's not quite as dominate as it was on my smaller S8.
Doesn't really make sense to me, but hey as long as you are happy. That's important.

Exactly as Comcast has been known to do to me personally with my past bills with them which is why I quit them years back but I was forced recently to move in with my mother to care for her as she has been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer of the bones so she didn't have internet and I've been relying on my mobile data only so I had to get some cable and internet plus WiFi here and I saw that Xfinity was offering that $500 gift card which peaked my interest which I in the end declined on due to them almost doubling the price of your services to qualify for it so I didn't get it. I just got the services I needed but however they are offering a $200 gift card if I buy the Note 8 I'll get a $200 dollar gift card which definitely does interest me because ultimately I was in search now of a larger screen device which the Note 8 will give me that as a second device if I don't decide to get a refund on the honor 8 to help pay the note 8 off quicker as I'd take the return money and add it with the gift card money and use it all towards pyaing off the device. I just don't know whether to get the Note 8 or the iPhone 8 right now which the iPhone has no gift card promotion and the iPhone would indeed make me return the honor 8 as I'd have no use for two smaller screen devices where the note 8 I likely would keep my honor and use the note 8 as my media device and a back up to my honor. So right now I'm unsure of which one I'm going to go for and again if there is not a hidden catch to it all. These companies try to get you and hook you in somehow and you end up getting stuck because you never saw the catch they had built into the deal.
Oh i am so sorry to hear about your mother! That's a horrible thing to have to live through for her and for you and the rest of the family

Yeah it's been very hard to watch. Especially because I can't fix her. I'm used to helping preople and solving an issue. With her all I can do is basically watch and that's rough on me. I can't imagintion what's she's going through.

Bunch of scammers. Getting it in writing is smart
Shame you have to go that far with these carriers. Makes me wonder if I should just not get the iPhone from Xfinity now and just stick with my honor and cricket as my carrier. Cricket has been easy as ever to use as it's just simply paying $50 to $55 dollars a month depending on the plan without any fees or taxes. Makes it much easier and less expensive. I've got a few days to think about it as I'm not 100 percent sure yet I'm doing it. Basically it only came about to me when I called in to sign up for cable and internet and by a mailer that had the offer of the $500 gift card then I saw the $200 gift card for Samsung so after that it's been a pressing decision that I've allowed it to become.

I'd just be careful. But the $500 sounds like a better deal imo

Yeah but the $500 gift card requires a more expensive cable and internet plan which you have to commit to and as far as cable goes I rarely watch TV if at all. I'll watch movies but regular cable I have gotten to where I just don't watch TV anymore unless I catch an NFL game every once in a while so I had no need for their deluxe expensive plan just to qualify for the $500 gift card. Now if I were to get a Samsung phone I'd definitely get that $200 gift card but after owning both the S7s and the S8 I'm really not much of a fan of Samsung other than for their unbelievable screen resolution they have. Now that's impressive to me. The software is awful and just choppy and sticky. Not fun to me to use really. Not like EMUI is or apple IOS is.

The more that I think about it, I think that the iPhone 8 Plus is the best for you as your large device and keep the honor 8 as your smaller device. So you get one ios and one emui device which you love and you don't have to return anything.

Can you just keep the cable package for three months then downgrade after getting the $500?

The best thing you an do is to be there for her.

Yes you are probably right but for some reason I've never been a fan of the chunky plus sizes of the iPhone. The bezels are so huge on the plus models but yes that would be the best ideal route for me only if I could handle the iPhone in a plus. I've never even thought about getting an plus in the iPhone. Xfinity is saying now that I have to wait a full week of being a customer to have a line available to me. By then I will have talk myself out of it which may be for the better. I typically act off impulse so if I allow myself time to think it over I normally won't do it. This is what will happen if I have to wait a full week to order a phone through Xfinity.

I was about to say this too. Is this possible, dconn?
No once you commit to a plan you can't downgrade it if you want to qualify for the $500 gift card. They make you keep your commitment on that I am pretty sure. Although I can still get the $200 gift card if I order the Samsung note 8 instead of the iPhone which I have not ruled out yet. Looks like it will be on Tuesday before I can place an order as they require the internet to be hooked up and activated before they make two lines available to me. I will have to give it all some thought now that I have to wait which possibly might make me not even order a new phone once I give myself time to think it through bc I typically act off impulse rather than thinking a decision through. I've always been like that and I yes I've made some bad decisions and I've made some good decisions like that so I'm not changing now but since I'm forced to think it through for a few days instead of ordering right now I might just not even do it at all. I'll have to wait until it's hooked up and see how I feel towards it. It's seems to be becoming too difficult as too many obstacles which could be a sign to just let it go all together. However I still would like to get over of the two at this very moment but as days pass by my want for it will subside which again might be a good thing. It'll save money for sure.

Bummer. Being stuck in a contract can be bad news if they hit you with hidden fees out of no where

Being on contract can be a good thing too. I was saving $20/mo because I was on contract. Depends on the plan though

Oh you can't downgrade? That sucks
