What happened to Wi-Fi calling for my Nexus 6?!

We were promised Wi-Fi calling due "early 2015"!

"Early 2015" is officially any day before 6/30/2015. That being said, it's been reported that T-Mobile, who promised it, is working on it. Just do a quick search, and you'll find plenty of threads on it.
