What has Verizon taken away from V20?

I have been talking with LG support for the past few days to get this fixed. It took some back and forth but after pointing out to them that the H910 (AT&T model V20) is not even listed on the SmartWorld website http://us.lgworld.com/ (if you visit the SmartWorld store on your PC and click select phone on the right) they finally said they would look into and I noticed today that the H910 actually appears there.

However the other problem is that several of the themes they have added since launch do not have the H910 listed as a supported device

And Home Theme+ still dose not show up under customization in the SmartWorld app on the AT&T V20, but you can access the section by going to Settings>Themes and taping the download icon, but any themes that that do not have the H910 listed as a compatible device will not show up. I'm hoping this will all get sorted in the next week or two. I plan on staying on them till it gets fixed. It's annoying when they try to blame it on my device and tell me to do stupid things like re install the app :(
I figured out later how to access them in settings.
 
Well, if you go to that link and click on contact under the names of those execs, I think this *might* be one of the better ways to contact someone that can make a difference. I say that because I've asked the agents on tech support calls if they can forward issues/concerns and they have told me more than once they can't... that often their supervisors will look over their logs, and maybe even listen to their calls, but they can't shoot them upward themselves...

And I will also send a communication about the In Apps... WOW that is helpful...

Yeah but there are still several that you still can not get to that way because they are not listed as compatible with the H910. The latest 5 or so themes they have added they have not tagged as being compatible with the H910 so they will not appear when you go to settings>themes>download. I'm hoping I can get them to fix it so that going forward all of the new themes will show on the AT&T version. All of the following themes appear and are downloadable on the T-mobile, sprint, and verizon versions. Pretty much all that shows up on the AT&T version are the super ugly racing ones.

I would like a lot more of the themes if we could use them without the icons they have.

I thought this page might be helpful to any Verizon customers that would want to skip customer service and get any grievance heard by (?) someone that might actually be able to do something about it.

They will only let you send in 1 communication per day. (When I tried to send the same thing to another exec, I got a msg that my 1st email was being routed and if I had another issue to please wait 24 hours.)

Of course!!! they promised to contact me today... but didn't. What did you ask for specifically?

I believe the reason why is that I asked for FM radio to be turned on... there's no quick snappy answer for that!

I asked pretty much the same thing. I'll call them tomorrow, then give the gist of the conversation here.

This thread is depressing me, but I'm glad I started it lol. I also found on another thread that there is no access to app shortcuts on the second screen when the main is off on the VZW variant. I still can't for the life of me understand why they limit so many features, but at least VZW has the Gallery app unlike another carrier.

My wife really wants this phone. She's tech savvy but not a phone nerd like I am (doesn't read about mobile tech 24x7 like me), so she won't know what she's missing until she sees me doing something on my Tmo V20 that she can't do. I'm trying to avoid conflict here lol.

I was under the impression that this wasn't a feature period, which seems to me could pose a security risk if it allows access to your phone without having to pass the security check. This one, if it is a Verizon removal, doesn't bother me one bit. Just my opinion.

Please post in the 2 threads on the Verizon help page to get more attention from VZ. One is the radio, other is the missing In apps shortcut.

Yes, but beware! There are some serious Verizon Fanboys there that refuse to consider the fact that maybe Verizon shouldn't do certain things... The justifications are outrageous! I'm commenting on this because those two posts are mine...
