Android Central Question

A few times a day, I get a brief message on my phone that says either "Mobility State: UNKOWN, Mobility State: Stationary, or Mobility State: Mobile". It appears and disappears very quickly. It shows up at the bottom of the screen in one of those gray text boxes, the same type of box that appears right after you set an alarm. It happens randomly, doesn't seem to matter if I have an app open or not. Can someone please explain what this means?

I have Cricket, but I have a Samsung, and I've been getting these since yesterday. I don't think it's causing problems, it's just annoying. I just got Cricket less than a week ago, and I've had non-stop problems. Definitely not a fan.

I'm having the same problem as of today 3-26-19. I have a ZTE Blade X Max with Cricket and every 3-5 minutes I get the same little message at the bottom of my screen in a grey notification that says Mobile Status : Stationary it appears and disappears quickly I haven't read it correctly.

I have the same problem too just started happening today pops up unknown or stationary I'm not aware of any updates but possibly as I have auto update and when I'm home it does stuff auto but I too have a zte blade x max...wierd

I am getting the same message. On Cricket but have a Samsung S9. I am also having wierd pop ups about Google Location. This was before the "toast" pop ups started.

I am getting the mobility state message on my screen as well... i just noticed it today. I have samsung galaxy s9. SO maybe not so much the device that is causing it-different devices are having same issue...The provider is also CRICKET... like others haven't downloaded anything in the past few days i did turn my location on the other day because my cell kept having a message on my screen about enable google location or remind me later.. it was annoying cause it kept popping up cricket wifi manager as well.

I strongly recommend to everyone here that you send feedback to Cricket about this. It's pretty clearly due to Cricket's own Wi-fi Manager app, so they're the ones who have to fix it.
