what is the highest GB memory capacity that the samsung galaxy note 4 can support?

I have been been mixed removes on the highest memory capacity for a micro sd card for a Samsung galaxy note 4 some say 128gb, others say 256gb, and I just saw on this forum that the galaxy note 4 supports 512gb mircro sd card. I just want to make sure if I buy one my phone will not be reading the sd card is damaged or any crap like that.

Re: what is the highest GB memory capacity that the samsung galaxy note 4 can support?

It typically is a safe[r] assumption to follow/go with the manufacturer's specifications:

Memory

  • INTERNAL MEMORY
(User memory is less than the total memory due to storage of the operating system and software used to operate the phones features. Actual user memory will vary depending on the mobile phone operator and may change after software upgrades are performed.)

    3GB RAM; 32GB ROM**
  • EXTERNAL MEMORY/MICROSD™ CAPACITY

    MicroSD™ (Up to 128GB)
  • SDHC/SHD SD CARD

    microSD™ (up to 128GB)
