WE are thinking of purchasing a Galaxy Tab S2 to take on our holiday to Europe, and I have a 1TB HDD that I want to be able to connect and transfer photos onto during the trip. What is the maximum USB external memory devices that can connect properly?

You need to use a y connector and an external battery to use 1tb or larger 2.5 inch drives with OTG connectors. Formatting also comes into play with larger drives. NTFS is not natively handled by android but can be done with apps from the app store. exfat is universally compatible between devices and is the best formating option for drives shared between multiple devices.

Looked like the picture didn't work in my first reply so I tried again and the first post fixed itself. Let me know if you have any questions.

It can take a 128GB microSD card. You could have multiple cards. That would save having to lug the extra HDD around.

At 8MP per image and even at the highest video resolution that is a lot of pictures and video capacity.
