What is the status of your Droid X order

Got my at 1:50pm. Had to play with it incognito so my boss didn't see. I got it charged and AppBrain is pull the apps down now. CAN'T wait to show it off.

Also, for those of you saying the camera loads slow, whatcho talking bout willis?

You click like you would a picture (2 stage button) Hold the second stage until you get a haptic buzz, then the camera opens. Its not like the storm where if you do it its automatic, which i like. I have grabbed my phone out of my pocket more than one and had to exit the camera app because of it.
 
I ordered mine yesterday morning via VZW CS at 9:30 am PST. I got confirmation that my X will be here on Monday. I am bummed I will not get it today, but hey better then waiting the 5 weeks for the droid incredible I ordered, then cancelled...lol. I am checking my tracking all day long, I love seeing that my Droid is getting closer and closer to me...:).
 
Ordered mine at 12:00 Noon Eastern time on the 15th.. Called a CSR, they mentioned that it was a software glitch in that the volume prevented some of the orders from validating funds from the banks and some went through and others didn't. She said it was the biggest order day she's seen.

Was told that the latest it would ship was the 23rd, but there was a good chance that it would ship before then as they will be trying to get some out throughout next week.
 
I was one of the people whose order got "stuck"

I ordered 07/15 @ 2:38 am, no idea when I am getting it. Walked into my local verizon store and they had them in stock. Verizon internal systems suck so bad that they couldn't cancel my internet order so i could purchase one in the store with my discount.

Verizon's internet ordering is the absolute worst. yesterday I spoke with someone who could barely pronounce Verizon Wireless. She told me I would receive my phone today. They are clueless.

Good thing they don't have the iPhone. I am convinced that as bad as AT&T is Verizon would be much worse when it comes to launch!
 
Couldn't get my Droid X in store due to special circumstances (apparently) so they ordered it online, said I'd get it in on Monday -- still can't see my order status on Fedex.com, though.

Don't know if I was even provided with a reference code. There's something on the receipt, named REFERENCE:, but that could mean just about anything.

Sigh.
 
I ordered around 8 last night and just recieved my tracking number. I should have mine by Tuesday.

I don't know why Verizon is screwing the people who ordered between 2:00 am - 3:00 am on July 15th. If I don't get my phone before the 23rd as promised I am gone. What the hell good is a network if you cannot get a friggin phone you want!
 
My girl just ordered the phone. (Paid full retail)

If she gets her phone before me I will be pissed! :mad:
 
Ordered mine online @ 5 am on the 15th. Got the email @ 5:40 am. @ 7:30 pm I called because no tracking number. They said order wasn't processed until 5:10 pm. I am still waiting.

I paid for next day delivery. Received credit for that. According to them, it will ship sometime between the beginning of time and the end of time. In the meantime, don't hold your breath.

Now that I've had a chance to read all these reviews, I may just reject the X when it comes, whenever that is.
 
Here is my problem, it might be solved (in the future).

All I had for a shipping option was/is the 2 day USPS priority. I am trying to upgrade my wife's phone and still don't see an option to choose the different shipping options can some one please tell me where the option is to change the shipping.

It's already been pushed back on their website. Now it's will be shipped by 7/27.

I wouldn't panic about the 7/27 date yet - that may be for new orders placed today. From what I am hearing, they are still getting a lot of internet orders.
 
After dealing with the nonsense of Best Buy telling me they will be getting between 40 and 50 phones and i'm #16 so it won't be a problem at all, they got 12 in that day, I decided to order it online. When I called Verizon at 3pm EST they told me they have plenty and that as long as I get my order in by 430pm that I was good to go and would receive overnight shipping.
Well, that didn't happen. After waiting for conformation of delivery(which never came) I called customer service which told me that they sold out at 230pm. So basically their phone rep lied to me (2nd time). I spoke to a supervisor who told me there was nothing they could do(did offer to send me a free case for my trouble) and that they did not anticipate not having enough devices, but Motorola did not provide enough. Long story short I decided to call several BJ'S warehouses and I found one that had 5 phones. Went to the store and got one, and while I was there the guys district manager called and told him to put the remaining 4 aside. He was taking him. So because of dumb luck I got my phone. A few minutes later and I would still be waiting. They really dropped the ball with the way they handled this promotion.
