I've learned my lesson about trying to order early. I called yesterday (07/15) about 07:00PM and spoke with someone who took a "pre-order". Basically, she wrote down all my info and told me she would enter the order "first thing in the morning". Turns out she was on the west coast, so it didn't go in until about 1:00PM EST. Once it did go in, it went into a "Manager Review Queue" for some reason, and wasn't cleared until last night. As such, I missed the overnight shipment.
I called today to check status on my order and was told it had missed the 2:30PM cutoff and they were out of stock. The CSR I spoke with told me my phone should ship by 07/23, and credited me $25 "for my trouble".
Unexpectedly, I just received a tracking number which shows my phone delivering on Monday. It's disappointing that I didn't get it today, but Monday is a lot better than what I was expecting based on the original projections. Maybe they've received some more in today?
