What is the status of your Droid X order

I see that Walmart has plenty in stock for next day delivery. It's a shame that VZW is insisting that they cannot cancel my order now. I'm going to keep trying.
 
I am kinda surprised :eek: vzw did not make sure they have enough phones before selling these . Its turned out to be a repeat,,, if your order a DX now it says shipping by 7/27 and for the incredible it is shipping by 8/3 so its catching up to the incredible waiting time line . :confused: Back to back blunders by vzw
 
My wife received her Droid X yesterday and, true to form, she hasn't yet activated it. It's driving me crazy. When I called to see if she received the package yesterday, she said "you're clearly more excited for me to have this phone than I am." Uh...yeah! :D
 
Just looked at a copy of my equipment receipt on my account. I noticed that the time ordered on the receipt is suspiciously 5 minutes after I started talking to a CSR on the phone. Appears as though they lost my 2:45AM order and decided to order it while we were trying to figure it out over the phone. Makes sense why my order number is different and why the total order was about $80 less.
 
I ordered yesterday around 1...I was worried after I might not get it until the 23rd however I got my email last night around 5 saying it had shipped and my package will be here monday! So excited!
 
So basically their phone rep lied to me (2nd time).

Join the club, I ordered mine 2nd day priority because I could not find any other option on VZW website. (if you are going to give free overnight shipping that should be the default setting). I emailed the internet support asking if they could convert my order to overnight Fed Ex from USPS 2 day. I was told in the email reply not to worry it WAS overnight and then prompted me to go look at the same tracking number.
WTH???
I guess they think I am stupid?
I also called a CSR early Friday morning and asked the same thing as the email above and was told rudely "we can not change the shipping on the orders". Which is BS because other companies can. I asked if I could cancel my order and have her order me another one. I was told she could not cancel it either.
So now I am sitting waiting on the mail man (person) to maybe bring it today because the scanning system the USPS has it has not even been scanned once.
Fingers crossed.

Ordered: 10:30 a.m. on July 15th. Received shipping info: 11 p.m. July 15th. Due to arrive: Monday by 4:30 p.m.
Ordered Online and selected Free Overnight Shipping. Did not receive "overnight"...so should I request some sort of compensation?

You ordered early enough to receive overnight shipping so compensation is warranted. If I were you I'd ask for $25 but would settle for $10.
 
Finally got my DX today!

Though VZ did a CRAPPY job packaging it. All they put was a tiny Fill Air bag (that was popped) and thats it! I could hear the DX sliding around in the box.

It better not be messed up! :mad:
