Hello everyone! I recently updated to Android 13.0 and have been having this volume problem ever since. The far right volume icon (Vonage) is stuck there. If I try lowering it, it springs back to the volume level it's at now. The worst part is that I can't lower my music/general audio settings without exiting out of Vonage. Only then does that icon disappear and I can use the volume keys for my normal volume settings. Any advice is appreciated!

Try clearing Vonage's app cache/data in Settings>Apps, then Force Stop it. Now see if the problem persists. If it does, it might be a bug related to the system update -- send feedback to Vonage about it.

If I Force stop the app, will it still have calls come in or only if I open it again? And then wouldn't that just restart the process?

Thank you for the response!

The app will probably restart on its own, but you can always manually open it yourself to reactivate it. If the issue is due to some wonky bit of data stuck in the app, then clearing the data and then restarting the app might fix it (without the issue returning, since it was wonkiness to begin with).

Still happening. Damn! Here I was hoping that was the fix.

Did you already send feedback to Vonage? I'm thinking it's a bug in the app.

I sent feedback to Vonage. I told them it's definitely their app and not Samsung like they think it is. I downloaded the sound assistant app and it worked for a hot minute until I gave Vonage permission to access my phone (I. E. So that calls will push to my phone and I will see/feel them.) Once I turned that on again, the weird volume setting came back.
