I wouldn't want to spend more then $150. I don't mind a lot of bass but I want the music to sound clear.

Mine are wireless over the ear (I can't stand in the ear, I find they start hurting after a few hours!). They are noise cancelling too and very comfortable, plus no cords to worry about!
Hey was it an HTC phone? I heard HTC shipped out Beats headphones with select phones for a very short period of time and came across a deal for just the headphones. Not sure if it's a story or just a smart counterfeiter but some evidence would help me a lot. Thank you.
I actually ordered an HTC One X+ but returned it after 10 days for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but I still received the Beats ears buds.![]()
From my knowledge the notes audio chip is better than the one x+ so your music should sound better too

But you have beats audio built in right? Have u enabled it? My friend had the Evo lte and beats audio does wonders lol

Yea beats audio is good but it's nothing compared to the audio chip inside of the galaxy phones. The note uses a Wolfson chip which is one of the best on the market, waaaaaay better than beats

That's good to know! Lol I had no idea

Now if you want awesome sound quality go with an amp/dac combo. For casual listening though just going through the phones headphone jack will be fine. I wasn't bashing beats btw, I think with a little more polish it will be the best audio experience on mobile devices. Sony also has good stuff on their phones.
