Not playing the blame game--I took my case off my DNA, forgot to put it on, dropped it when I stood up out of my car. Now I have cracks all over my screen. I am pretty handy and would like to do the repair myself, but I can't figure out what parts I need to buy. It seem there are a few possible parts, and I really don't want to take my phone apart and then have to order more stuff. Here's the parts that I'm seeing on various websites linked to screen repair:
-LCD screen w/ digitizer
-LCD screen on its own
-digitizer touch screen on its own
-light guide
Is there anyone on this forum who has successfully done this repair and knows the necessary parts? Or maybe someone who has opened up a DNA before? I was planning on purchasing my parts from etradesupply.com. Thanks for any feedback!
