That is a giant leap of faith. There are no facts to support what you are saying. Yeah, it would be terrific if the phone does improve. But their customer service is not just anemic, it's downright pathetic. I cannot trust them.
Its not a giant leap of faith at all to say a new company is going to improve their software. As people use it and the issues are reported, it can only get better. Even the big companies have put out less than stellar software and then turn around a fix it with a few updates. Thats how software works, its not just one and done that's all you get.
I was back playing with essential in the sprint store and I could not recreate a single issue I have read about, the camera app didnt bother me one bit. It took pictures just like every other phone I have owned.
Also do most people in this thread realise the company only employs 100 people. 100 people to undertake the launching of a new brand isn't a lot at all.
