HTC 6800 on Verizon Wireless. I remember when I got it, it ran Rev0 of Ev-Do and was borderline unusable between that and the horrendous battery life. I miss that phone though, once the 6.1 MR update came out it ruled.

And my next phone will definitely be an Android phone when I make the switch in September of this year!
My first was and is my Hero. I had no past experience in what you can do with a smartphone and I couldn't afford anything fancy for a long time, but I was really pining for something like this so I took a chance. And I couldn't be happier. Sure, my cell plan costs a bunch, but it's so worth it! I used to lug around my old phone, my MP3 player and a laptop if I wanted to do something on the net (if I was going to be near a WiFi hotspot...). Now all I need is my trusty Hero, and it does so much more than those devices! I will never get lost again, I will be connected, I will be entertained. And I can do all of the former in more than one way and it fits in my pocket. Android really puts the smart in smartphone. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back... I'm addicted.
P.s.: sorry for the rambling, but it really was and still is a special experience for me. Using android that is. And the nice design of the Hero helps too. I'm sure the 'Droid does', but the white, the chin and the trackball stole my heart!
Palm Treo 700WX. I paid $500 for it at Alltel in 2006-early 2007, I believe. Sounds about right because I got the 1st generation iPhone in Summer 2007.
