Here's my first true smartphone:

Holds a place in my heart as I converted the housing from black to white to green.
Bonus references. My first cell overall:

Used an iFixit teardown to replace the housing for the HTC Touch back in the day...That HTC phone is so cool and cute!
Blackberry Curve 8330 on Verizon, and I think it cost $199 and tied me to a 2-year contract with hefty termination fees. Good times!
First smartphone was the BlackBerry Pearl on Verizon. First non- BlackBerry was the original Motorola Droid.
Good times.....
I know! I remember how great I thought that phone was. It was solid, easy to carry and use one handed and looked pretty slick at the time.BlackBerry Pearl!![]()

I carry a Note 8 now and have used "big" phones since the Note 2. How times have changed...
I remember my Iron Man Blackberry Pearl 8100. I took an ordinary blacl Pearl and swapped the housing for a fully red trim with the gold keyboard.I know! I remember how great I thought that phone was. It was solid, easy to carry and use one handed and looked pretty slick at the time.

I miss the old Blackberry's because you could buy housings online and swap stuff out. I used to change my own screens, trackpads and housings for the Bold 9700 especially. Those things would have 2 different screen models...what a pain. Still, I had an ex that loved purple and I swapped her white Bold 9700 for a lilac housing.
a BlackBerry 8000 and it ran great. finally went to Samsung when my Z10 had an issue with my floor
The only thing tougher than those old Blackberry's were the old Nokia's. Nokia 3310s and 5110s were weaponized years ago.LOOL at "had an issue with my floor." That does sound very unfortunate, however.
