what was your first smartphone?

I had the Ericson r380 in 2000 or 2001. it wasn't that smart but did have an on screen keyboard and a tooth pick of a stylus to type with. you could create documents on it.

Droid X but gave it to my nephew because I thought 4.3 display was too big: confused: So I replaced it with the HTC Droid incredible. Wow have things changed since 2010

LG Optimus V. Still in use as a dedicated check engine code reader with the torque app. First of only 2 phones that I ever rooted to get wifi tether working. Hasn't been necessary since.

Amazing how prices/value have changed. Paid $129 for this Optimus. My newest phone, ZTE ZMAX ONE LTE cost me $60 a week ago!

Nokia 3311, then I moved to Nokia e63. My first touch was a Nokia 5233, and my first android was Sony Xperia J. Good ol' days, I miss hacking the old symbian devices

First smartphone was the BlackBerry Pearl on Verizon. First non- BlackBerry was the original Motorola Droid.

Good times.....

BlackBerry Pearl!
I know! I remember how great I thought that phone was. It was solid, easy to carry and use one handed and looked pretty slick at the time.

I carry a Note 8 now and have used "big" phones since the Note 2. How times have changed...

I remember my Iron Man Blackberry Pearl 8100. I took an ordinary blacl Pearl and swapped the housing for a fully red trim with the gold keyboard.

I miss the old Blackberry's because you could buy housings online and swap stuff out. I used to change my own screens, trackpads and housings for the Bold 9700 especially. Those things would have 2 different screen models...what a pain. Still, I had an ex that loved purple and I swapped her white Bold 9700 for a lilac housing.
