What will it take to get you interested in a Pixel 4/4XL?

Neither.

As you know

I destroyed a S8+ over Bixby

I needed a phone .so i bought a 3XL.

See it's top price and a yr behind in hardware.

I can do without being the 1st person on the planet getting the newest updates.
Cool , agree...
Rest in peace s8+

Google don't have much money?
Have you looked at what one of their shares goes for?

In 2014, Google made $65.67B in revenues. In 2015, Google made 74.5B. In 2016, Google made 89.46B. For fiscal year 2017, Google reported revenues of $110.8 Billion.Jun 29, 2011

Maybe they should save their money and not make phones.

And find somebody that can manage money.

Google being 2rd or 3nd most value brand , I don't think they have a issue managing their money.

They have no issue managing our money either. Every year they manage to get some of it - :)
That's for sure , but we can take advantage of their price drops or trade ins, just have to be smart shopper. We do that for everyday things why not phones . Yeah I'm definitely guilty for pre-order on phones but that's on me .

If they keep making solid phones with amazing cameras they will be good. I hope they add a wide lens and add the same camera magic to it and everything else will be fine . People are just in panic mode since they're doing something different versus notch.

Would love to see Google produce a ceramic backed model but that won't happen and it would make it more expensive

I'm just not sold on face unlock and gesture control being enough to give up a fingerprint scanner, wide angle ffc, and duel front speakers. I believe Google said something along the lines of developing more uses for gestures over time, meaning they'll probably be a pretty limited amount at the beginning.

C'mon Google, you wanna sell more phones? lower the price! because in the words of Flossy Carter "DA PRICE IS TOO GAT DANG HIGH!"

IMO that's what the 3a is for....it's a really affordable alternative. Hopefully it will continued with 4 series

Agree. The Pixel "a" series has been created as a solution for the user that price sensitive. I think the flagship series will maintain their premium pricing model.

I could see them continuing the "a" series. I used my a XL for a week or so, did all I needed it to do in fine fashion.
Did have an issue with the Messages App, not sure that was phone, app, or something other weird issue. I would not be surprised if the "a" out sold the regular Pixel series in the near future.
