What will it take to get you interested in a Pixel 4/4XL?

On serious note, looks like the notch is gone and will be punch hole like S10+ which is fine. Also, expecting they put 8 GB RAM on the highest end with at least 6 GB on base models. I also hope they figure out all the weird performance issues some people are expecting and have a smooth launch this time around. Also, put a little bigger battery please !!!

Yeah 3400/3500 mAh on the smaller version and 3900/4000 mAh on the XL. But knowing Google, we both know that's unlikely

No real issues could be faster like Huawei and OnePlus though. I have the same complaints about Samsung too.

Keep the screen flat and the size about the same for the 4 . Keep both front facing speakers . Hopefully a little larger battery .

While I don't disagree with front speakers I think the trend is a lost cause as devices opt for more screen space with less chin and notch.

We talk about what would it take to get us to buy a Pixel 4.
And say that pixel if offering what they should of had last year and now they are offering it this year.
A year behind.
Google sells their phones as Premium devices with things in Hardware being a year behind.
This is not acceptable.

I can remember that when the Apple phones was still offering a 16gb phone and you had problems doing updates.
You had to delete pictures and things off your phone to be able to do the update.
Samsung stopped making the 16gb phones and came out with the 32gb phones.
And has started making it a standard increasing the internal memory.

Time Google started making it right with the customers or quit charging for premium devices.

Sure everybody is geared up to buy a new phone. But is what they get worth what they paid for. No it ain't.

Google continues to play with the phones.
And don't totally jump in and do what they should be doing. Making a Premium device with hardware.
Nobody should even be offering less than 6 GB memory.
And not making a phone that is 64 Gb storage anymore.
128 GB should be standard

Just like Youtube wants us to make monthly payments to use Youtube, which is also Google.

Won't be long before they will want us to pay for our picture on Cloud storage with monthly payments.
Photobucket has already done this.
That is why they should have SD cards. But we got people saying they don't use SD cards.
We got folks that don't use their phones for a lot of things. But that is not why it needs to be there.

And for the Pixel 3 only giving us a 3400 Mah battery.
They should of given us a bigger battery for what they charged last year.
But they didn't.
Now they want to talk about maybe raising it to 3600 or maybe 3800 this year.

NO!
Give everybody a 4000 ah battery or don't make the pixel phone.
The knowledge is out there.
But Google refused to use it.
They bank on everybody thinking they are getting best camera.
When they don't have the best camera to me.

Take a picture with your note 9.
Now take a picture with your pixel 3 XL

Show people and have them to tell you which is which.

I say again.
Google either needs to get with the program and make the good phones.
Or quit charging for premium devices.
It ain't what would it take.
Google knows what it will take.
But they won't step on the plate.
All they are interested in is Money. Not the customers.
I'm sure the customers have voiced their opinions.
And the people wanting to know has taken up for Google.

But in the end. Why is google thinking they can compete with Samsung and Apple phones as being one of the top phones.

Google you either can't hear. Or don't care.

Look at the folks that bought new Samsung phones not knowing about Bixby.

15 Days is not enough time to check out a new phone, unless you have the money to not work and don't use it much.

So I disagree with the statement that you knew what you was getting before you got it.

Buying a new phone is a gamble.

But if a new phone came out and a month later a newer model came out.
People would be standing in line to get it.

A good example of this would be the BlackBerry Priv, launched in late 2015.

It had the latest, most high end Qualcomm processor at the time, but in the real world, anyone who's used one knows how that turned out.

In short: They should have gone with the 801 or the best 6xx series at the time.

But if a new phone came out and a month later a newer model came out.
People would be standing in line to get it.
