Can anyone with the new update let us know what is missing from oreo?

I want to get an idea before I decide to update.

Verizon pie no way to remap bixby button?

No way to change Android messaging app background.

If you find solutions i'd be glad to know

hiding the nav bar in pie only happens if you use gestures... pita as if you use spay to show fave cc's enabled; you'll have a conflict! Oh they added time in the notification menu... why?! Silly humans

thanks for the suggestion tried bxactions it works when the screen is on but I can't figure out how to get it to work with the screen off also it pulls up Samsung pay right behind it which makes me nervous

Wow, Verizon actually disabled the ability to remap the Bixby button? I wonder what was in that decision for them.

They can have all of the new features back! Give me my schedule message ability back. Verizon........

Not sure if it's the same with Verizon, but its still there on Att. It's the "+" on the keyboard. Then tap the 3 dots. I use it often, so I was super upset till an AC user told me.

I lost my ability to do split screen. I'm not happy. AT&T.

I didn't think we ever could re-map the Bixby button. I'd love to make it something useful.

I have the schedule message on Virgin Mobile Canada pie update. Plus sign.

The feature is still there, select "+" and use three dot drop down to select message scheduling. I use Message+ app, on Verizon USA

The ability to remap the Bixby button is still there on my Verizon note 8 after pie. I have mine set for short press for Google assistant and long press for Bixby. Just Google the instructions. I don't remember the link but it was the first one that came up.

A couple things I've noticed that are missing are a few of the camera smart shots and you can't see battery percentage unless you pull down the notification panel.

Settings > notifications > status bar > show battery percentage

Any details on what's missing? Here is a screenshot of my N8 camera on Oreo:
