What do you mean by this?
Settings > notifications > status bar > show battery percentage
Schedule message is still available, hit the + in the text box where your message goes and then the 3 vertical dots for the sub menu! They removed "Schedule message" feature for setting a day/time to send a text message. I loved this & would use it quite a bit actually. Especially when I thought of something but it was too late to text, I simply scheduled it for a day/time and it automatically sent the text message at that time. Worked good too for sending Happy Anniversary, etc. when I remembered it but it wasn't the actual day yet - lol! Maaaaan...

Were any of these in oreo?I'll tell you what's missing in regards to Pie notifications.
Here's what I DON'T like about Pie 9.0 notifications:
1. Inability to set full drop down notifications. Example. I receive a 3 sentence Twitter notification but Pie only allows me to see the first sentence. I should be able to toggle between minimized drop down notifications and maximize sized.
2. Inability to set the drop down notification time before it disappears. It seems to default to about 4 seconds max. I should be able to set that myself.
3. Inability to to adjust the lockscreen display time when receiving and reading a lockscreen notification. Notification comes in and I literally only have a few seconds to read it before the screen goes black. This should be customizable.
4. Drop down notification area. I should be able to select where on the screen I receive my notifications. Right now we only get to read the drop down notifications from the top. I may want it on them on the bottom. Or the middle. We should have the choice.
5. Greater control over color/brightness. We can receive dark colored notifications but only if we're in night mode. I should be able to control how bright and what color I want my notifications.
Everyone seems to love these enriched notification settings but I think Android pretty much fails miserable in the true customization department when it comes to notifications.
That actually was a totally relevant question since this thread is only about what's missing in the update, not what's missing in Android (that would be an entirely different thread!). As I was reading your list, I was trying to think why in the world would he list all this stuff when none of it was even available in Oreo to start with.None of these feature were available in Oreo. Moreover, that's completely irrelevant.
The ability to schedule a message is still there. Open the messaging app, select the person you want to send the message to, hit the + on the left of the message box, hit the 3 dots on the right, then select schedule message. ??????
You can still split the screens with the Pie update, including with the calculator app. Just hit the "recents" button at the bottom and then press and hold the icon of the recent app you want to open in the split screen. You're right! Thx so much!!!
So it's buried in with sending an attachment...maybe this way more people will be aware of it? I just haven't attached anything to a text message yet.
Thx again!
On another feature that's missing...
It's technically still there but the apps you can use this feature for is limited. Which is the ability to split the screen using two apps. I used this a lot but now it can only be used for certain apps. Not even calculator can be split with another app - that was really useful. Not sure why they revived it. My old tablet still does it.
So how would one uninstall Pie to go back to Oreo or even Nougat? The thing I liked about Nougat is while on the phone the phone screen didn't time out. But Oreo would be fine for me. Is there any way to downgrade?

One addition I like is you can select the app to be a pop up and then you can change the transparency of the app, so for example when I book work trips I can have my calendar app open but fairly transparent and use it on top of other apps.
Seems like a bunch of features are still there, just buried in different layers.
That's right! After the update, I can't have my Note 8 bake a cake or fly around the room!None of these feature were available in Oreo. Moreover, that's completely irrelevant.

So disappointed with this update.![]()
