Whats Revolutionary About iPhone 5?

Unfortunately, Apple likes to sue companies that make phones of a similar form to the iPhone. One phone that's really good, has a similar form to the iPhone, and has a 4.3 inch screen which shouldn't be too large for you is the Asus Padfone. Here's the website: ASUS - Mobile- ASUS PadFonehttp://www.asus.com/Mobile/PadFone/

Actually, they cost the same as high-end Android phone. Which in my opinion and according to many tests are much better than the iPhone. Just saying. Your opinion is your opinion. I don't want to start a fight.

It would also be your opinion that they are better.

Jail breaking isn't a one click process with iOS 6. That exploit was fixed. In fact, unless it's tethered to your PC 24/7 you can't jailbreak it at all.

Not to mention cydia is the most frustrating thing ever and anyone who's used it knows that.

There's nothing at all revolutionary about the iPhone 5. It's basically an iPhone 4s that's 20% thinner with an extra row of icons and crappy mapping software.

Jailbreaking is one-click. The reason it's not yet for iOs 6 is because it still in the early stages being that it was just released 4 days ago.

Cydia is just as easy as the App Store. Why do you find it difficult to use? You search and app and then you download. Most tell you which iPhone versions it works on.

Why are people arguing about how easy it is to jailbreak? Whatever. Here's my opinion: You may like the iPhone for various reasons. But if jailbreaking is really that important, then iOS is not for you.

I did. I ate the $35 restocking fee and returned my GS3 to AT&T. The iPhone 5 is better for me.

Okay. Fair enough. You may like the iPhone better, others may like the GS3 better. I guess that's it. Thanks for not flaming.

Me personally, the One X was better than the GS3. I had that one for 2 weeks and then got the GS3.

Yeah. If you average out the opinions, the two are pretty much even. The GS3 has better specs, but the One X has a better style. That's what I've observed from various people's opinions.

No, the reason it's not for iOS 6 is that they closed up the exploit that allowed it tight as a noose. iOS has has been out for months now.

Tell that to the 10+ percent of iPhone users who jailbreak their phone.

Yup :) That's what I said.

Also, just to be clear, I don't disagree. You can do more on an S3 than you can on an iPhone 5. But, there's also a lot of people that don't need their phone to do all that the S3 can, so they choose an iPhone instead.

Based on hardware spec?

I agree. Some people like the simplicity of the iPhone better. I don't find Android hard to use, but iOS is more simple. I personally benefit from the extra features of Android, but not everyone needs that.

*sigh* not you again

But most of them believe the iPhone has more features and is amazing. Sure some might pick the iPhone for your reason, but a lot probably just don't realize they could get more.

That isn't really the case. They know android does more, but they don't care.

I think from this intense discussion we can all come to a consensus that no one buys Symbian phones anymore. I think. :P

As I was standing in line for my iPhone 5, I heard some odd/untrue reasons why it was better than Android. I wanted to correct them but I just didn't. I love the iPhone but the average user don't know what the heck they are talking about. I heard this older lady say, " that Android thingy copied Apple and they are terrible!" I heard so much false info. I wanted to show them the One X and the GS3. We were at an AT&T store.

Nah. They don't care. Believe it or not, most iOS users prefer the closed, simple ecosystem. It just works, and that's good enough.

This.

Fine! I'll agree with you. But just this once.

Lol. You could have made your own commercial.

The main thing I like about Apple products is the quality of the product. The customer service is also amazing. I don't care enough for Widgets for it to even play a role in any decision. iOS applications are so much smoother (just like everything else). That is the only reason why I am actually thinking about dropping my SIII for one. Its time to get a smaller phone lol.
