That is part of the Edge contacts and it should work with any messaging app you use.

I love Google messenger. Never have any issues with it. I like being able to archive messages so i don't have to look at them but can get back to them if I need them

I agree, love the stock app. Tried Google messenger, textra and a few others and they were ok but the stock app just works better for me. I hate the emojis though, I literally don't understand them and they don't translate on other platforms

Textra all day but I do like Google messenger alot also. Just don't like the quick reply on either honestly would rather a quick reply like the iphones

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Samsung messaging app is the only one that will convert any size video so you can send it as a MMS? As we all know that Android does NOT like to send video's thru MMS unless you record them from within the messaging app (super low quality)

Not sure that's a Textra feature. As long as WiFi calling is enabled, you can do that to with any other app.

With Textra, I can see what I'm typing in portrait-mode, but in Landscape-mode (which I use 99.9% of the time) the auto-suggest (or whatever it's called) is in the way. Is that in the app or maybe on my phones keyboard options?

I'm using the default HTC messaging app on mine. It's fast and does wi-fi, but I still wish I could change the plain-ish text boxes (besides the background). Guess that's one of the reasons it's fast, lol.

GOSMS pro. I love the themes and pop outs for notification. You can customize almost everything on it. Paid for it with Google opinions surveys long time ago.
