Question WhatsApp screenshots/photos from backup on Gallery

Hello,

I backed up my WhatsApp recently (to my Google account) and then retrieved the backup file on my new phone. Afterwards, I suddenly have tonnes of old screenshots (which I could tell was extracted from WhatsApp) appearing on my Android Gallery. I am happy for all the screenshots/pictures on WhatsApp to be backed up and remain within WhatsApp, but I don't want them to appear on my Gallery. What can I do?

Open your Gallery app and go to 'Albums'. There, tap the menu button and select HIDE ALBUMS. You can turn on/off whatever album (other than the Camera folders) there.
