Hi,
I had been using the samsung headphones for a couple of months now, and nothing was wrong with my J5 2015. I was pretending to fight with one of my friends as a joke, and as soon as I did the headphone jack split in half. Luckily, the headphone jack that was still inside my phone didn't get stuck, and instantly removed itself. When I got home, I tried every single piece of headphones I have, including the new S8+ headphones that come with the phone (my friend has them). Nothing worked. As soon as I put the headphones in, the phone would freeze and eventually restart over and over and over again until the headphones would be removed. When I put the headphone 3/4 in, the sound was playing only in the left ear, and it was very muffled and super low. When I pushed it 4/4, the phone freezed. I tried going into safe mode, but it did not work. I haven't tried cleaning it as I am afraid it will probably snap something inside, and my phone was PAYG, and there was no whatsoever warranty. Is there any ways I can do anything at home? I am not able to spend money on getting it repaired right now. If no, should I go to samsung or any phone repair shop?
Thanks.

Welcome. :)

Do you feel competent to attempt a repair yourself?
