Which Gear S3 are you buying?

I currently have the S2 Classic, but I'll get one of these new ones. Going to wait until I see them in person first before I choose

Frontier here....probably with LTE on Verizon. Love the rugged look of the Frontier.

What did the Gear S2 and S2 Classic sell for new when they first came out?
$250 U.S. if memory serves (but that might've been what the S1 was at release. Possibly $350 for the S2.
My point is it's not a must have device for most and if they want to increase market share raising the price isn't going to help. It's not like it's an iPhone or Galaxy where people will pay any price to have the next edition.

They have to build a less expensive watch then. This watch is supposed to be pretty premium compared to all the other plastic smart watches put there. If a buyer is not interested in a 450-500 price tag they have the Gear 2 available, which can be purchased for as low as 99 bucks. Samsung is going after the higher end watch wearers. Guys who won't trade in a Tag for a plastic smartwatch.

All the entry level models are usually Aluminum, this is supposed to be Stainless Steel, so that might dictate a 2nd tier pricing, along the 350-600 level. I'm hoping for the 350 range myself.

Edit: am i the only one that is curious about the Classic because it comes in Silver. But i do like the Frontier.

Frontier w/ LTE on T-Mobile. I just hope they get their stuff together and hurry up with the one number/numbersync feature. October will make one year since they said they were working on it.

I would like the Frontier, but it looks a little too rugged for a woman. I would like to see it in a rose gold maybe. I'm trying to see if I'll just get the S2 because of the rose gold. The S3 isn't looking too feminine to me.
