Hey guys i gotta say i love your mom rom but i also like kravens cm7 port. With the kravens iho kernel i can overclock to 864 mhz but in gingerkernal with your mom rom it reboot at anything over 787 mhz. I love them both i cant decide which one though. Please refrain from saying its whatever fits you. And if i do need to downgrade do i need a gb stock rom. If so where do i get one. Thanks for any help given

That's like comparing apples to potatoes. CM7 and any ROM based on official LG software are two entirely different animals. I know you don't want to hear "its whatever fits you" but seriously... it's whatever fits you.

If you are going from YourMomROM to Kraven you will need to do the official downgrade.

1. Downgrade to stock Froyo using the official downgrade thread
2. Root
3. Install Custom Recovery
4. Install the Kraven's CM7

I know it's a quite a bit of work, but that's how it has to be done.

to downgrade do i need a gingerbread stock rom cause if so i didnt backup so how do i get it by the way ive downgraded before i just need to know how to get a gingerbread stock rom or if i need one

Read the new Basic Optimus S Guide thread; links to upgrade/downgrade are there. And the answer to your question is also there: you will need the stock recovery to change out the radio.
