Which Messaging App?

I can respond or send a text using google messenger via my watch (LG Watch R). I've had no issues.

Yeah I agree...the new google messenger is really fluid and clean. Material design all the way!

This might seem like crazy talk... I have been using the verizon messaging app from the play store and it's not too bad plenty of custom features are available

I recently switched to the G3 from HTC One (m7) and decided to try out Textra as the default on the LG seemed lacking.

Google messenger is now my goto. Beat android wear support. You guys were right.

I switched to the Google Messenger app from EvolveSMS and glad I did. It's fast, no lag or stuttering, mms works perfectly, looks good with the material design and has great Android Wear support for my Moto and LG watches, which is a key feature for me. I change sms apps frequently but I think I'm going to stick with Messenger for awhile.

Google Messenger...though I do wish there was a dark theme. While I generally like the Material design aesthetic, sometimes all the white and bright colors can be a bit much.

Team Blackout has a dark modded Google Messenger.
