Which one too go for s10 or s10+

S10. Don't like the pill style hole punch and I don't care about the extra selfie cam depth sensor of the S10+. The S10 will be much easier to use one handed as well. Battery life will be a little worse but that's not near as much of an issue for me as I'm not a power user. Just my personal preference of course.
S10 will have the same batter as s9+ since it has 3400 compared to the s9+ 3500 but yet smaller and better chip

I guess the extra battery of the plus is another benefit. Another potential con is the extra weight of the ceramic.

It's frustrating that in the UK there is no way to see them and have a good play. I feel like I am buying blind to a degree.

It's very simple that, who ever want bigger screen and dual front cameras shall go with S10+ or else go with S10. And even S10+ has unique feature like wireless charger and most important that 1TB storage version is only available in S10+ only.

What do you mean by S10+ has the unique feature of wireless charger?

So my 10 and 10+ just arrived. None the wiser as to what one to keep!!

No doubt that the plus is noticeably heftier in the hand though

I went with the S10+. I am a tall guy, and it's the perfect size phone. My previous phone was the Note 8, and I plan on getting the Note 10. The 10plus is holding me over until then lol

I'm still agonizing over this... I have the S10 I pre-ordered in-hand, but I gotta admit it feels smaller than I expected. Even smaller than the iPhone X I have for work for some reason. Meanwhile the S10 Plus, which I just checked out at Best Buy, feels a bit smaller than I expected in a good way. I had a Note 9 and was sick of how bulky that phone was, hence my choice of the regular S10.

Battery life is also a little disappointing. My expectations were probably a little too high, even though I knew it wouldn't match the Note 9 or OnePlus 6T I used. But yeah... not sure if I should just keep it or go through a JOD exchange at T-Mobile and eat the restocking fee. I wish Samsung made an S10 that was somewhere in between the size of the regular S10 and the Plus. First world problems!

Yeah I'm sort of wishing there was a regular S10 with the plus' battery

Ya agreed. S10 and the plus have wireless (and reverse wireless). Only difference is battery and extra selfie cam and price. And I guess regular S10 has better ppi on the display. Regular S10 was an easy choice for me.

IMO, the larger battery alone is worth the $100. Coming from the Note 5, the S10+ was an easy choice

Absolutely, if it didn't come with the extra bulk. I think many of us would take the regular S10 with an S10 Plus battery.

I finally found a T-Mobile store in the area with some S10 Pluses in stock, but I have to go through Customer Service since my pre-order S10 was shipped, not bought in-store -_-. And shipping of S10 Pluses is back-ordered til April.

I think I'll just hang onto the S10 for a while longer, and once the Plus is back in stock, see if I still want to exchange the S10. At least then, I'll only have to wait 2 or 3 days to get it instead of returning the S10 now and waiting til they're back in-stock and ready to ship.

I went in the Samsung store with the aim of getting an S10. I held all the S10 models and nearly went for the S10E. Loved the flat screen on that one. In the end, it was the S10+ because it's not as big as I thought it was and actually, very manageable. Settled on the Prism White 128GB model and they threw in Galaxy Buds.

First world problems for sure! I am having the same dilemma and have both models in hand.

I am actually finding the smaller one pretty good, it feels bigger than the S9 (that I did find to be too small) not much but enough to make a difference imo. The single hole punch is also preferable to the double especially as the double brings no benefit to me. Overall it is a pretty big screen in very manageable footprint.

My plus model is the ceramic and it feels sooo nice in the hand far more premium than the smaller S10 but the extra weight coupled with the taller phone does make it slightly awkward to use one handed and I get the feeling it could slip out of my hand at any moment. I wanted the ceramic as I rarely use a case but maybe the lighter glass one would be better? I have used many large phones recently so should have no issue with the plus really.

I have not found the battery life on either to be great TBH, I have used a Mate 20 pro and view 20 and neither of the S10s are as good as these two and the trademark Samsung standby drain is present. So I am leaning towards the S10 at the moment but I fear I will end up keeping both at this rate!

By the way the S10 is slightly bigger than the iPhone Xs not smaller https://www.phonearena.com/phones/size/Samsung-Galaxy-S10,Apple-iPhone-XS/phones/10959,10766

I went with the plus... personally. I wanted the extra battery power, and the bigger screen. but the s10 and even the s10e are nice in the hands.

I got the S10 plus I got used to bigger phones and I like a little width to the device makes texting a little easier and feels sturdier in the hand

The smaller one is slowly feeling more adequate with each passing day. Your point about battery life is interesting, as it was going to be the main reason I switch to the Plus. I really am torn. Already ordered 2 cases for the regular 10, including my leather Samsung case which just arrived. Your battery life observation may just sway me to hold onto the regular S10.

And yes, the iPhone X and Xs are smaller, that's why I was surprised that the S10 "feels" smaller. I have both in my midst as we speak. Maybe its the tapered edges?

I did some quick calculations of some phones I've either owned or been familiar with, here is the overall volume of each (in cubic millimeters):

Note 9: 108,848.608
Note 8: 104,533.
S9 Plus: 99,176.13
OnePlus 6T: 96,604.2
S8 Plus: 94,829.13
S10 Plus: 91,089.648
S9: 86,249.415
S10: 82,313.088
S8: 81,120.72
iPhone X: 78,395.548

And then what I call one-handed volume... this throws out height since that's not as big of a consideration as width and thickness:

Note 9: 672.32
Note 8: 643.28
S9 Plus: 627.3
OnePlus 6T: 613.36
S8 Plus: 594.54
S9: 583.95
S10 Plus: 577.98
S10: 549.12
iPhone X: 545.93
S8: 544.8

I'd be curious to know what you end up doing. Keep me updated!
