Currently using a Note 4 which works well for me as I can actually type on it (I'm a 55 y/o man, not a 12 y/o girl). Was extremely disappointed when the Note 5 was released as a downgrade (no sdCard, non-removable battery). Was somewhat excited when Note 7 was released (at least they included an sdCard) but still concerned with the non-removable battery. Not that I need to replace mine that often, just aware of realistic battery service life and view non-servicable devices as a company's way to line their pockets by creating disposable products. Yeah I'm one of those guys who cracked my iPod classic open to R&R the HDD & battery for seamless music integration with my car while cussing at Apple with every insertion of the splunger since that was the last iPod version worth owning.
And considering my original Note 4 started having serious issues freezing and rebooting and pulling the battery was the only way to restore it didn't help my concerns.
Then after having it diagnosed at the Samsung Service Center as having a faulty mother board (15 months old) after already replacing my faulty Samsung Level U headphones a month earlier with an LG BT headset that is better in every way and having to now replace the phone (Swappa) made me start looking at other brands. So now I'm seriously considering a V20.
Looking forward to production unit reviews, but am a little hesitant with the IPS display vs AMOLED and particulary the undersized battery capacity. Wish this stupid fad with ultra thin phones could just die and manufacturers would give us a battery size that matches the device's performance and display size, you know, like common sense should dictate. And I'm not sure why with all the other advanced features they would downspec the display but most reviews have complimented it so that may be a non-issue.
In the end after searching the market and needing the larger screen for my work the V20 shows the most promise to replace the Note 4 and there are plenty of aftermarket styluses to choose from.
