Whitestone Dome for the Ultra has Blue Light Cut ?

Man, What the hell happened to WSD?

I have been using their protectors on MANY MANY of my phones and I have not had much of an issue with the installation, but for the N20U, it was such a horrible pain in the rear that I am just not sure I will EVER spend any money with them again.

The installation cradle quality has gone way down. Before, it was VERY hard to NOT line things up pretty perfectly. With the N20U cradle, the first time I applied the glue and set it, I removed the "pin" to let the screen protector settle and it slid down and wasn't seated well and I ended up with a mess. I'm SO HAPPY that I used the damn stickers that came with it to cover the buttons and all that, or I would have had one hell of a mess. Well, more of a mess than I had.

So, I tried again after cleaning things up and the glue didn't have complete coverage. It missed the bottom corner... so... once again, I had to remove and clean things up. I tried using the guide and everything.

Luckily for me, I had some extra "glue" so... onto the 3rd try...

I was just as careful as the other 2 times, but, the stars and planets aligned and all went well. This time, it looks like it stuck right where is was supposed too and after about 30 minutes of UV lighting, it's perfect.

BUT, my biggest gripe now? How long it takes for the Finger Print Sensor to unlock the phone.

Yes, I turned the sensitivity up
Yes, I reregistered my prints after the installation
Yes, I registered each finger twice

It literally takes 2-3 seconds of holding my finger on the sensor for it to unlock, not just the phone, but any app I use Biometrics on.

Is this the new states of WSD? Anyone have suggestions, other than the 3 mentioned above, to speed the FPS?

Thanks!

Sorry you had so much trouble with it. I have to say, in my experience, the N10+ guide frame was perfect, out of all the phones I've had WSD on (only 4). But when it comes to the FPS, my N20U is very fast and more responsive than it was on my N10+, with the WSD. I still get occasional fails, but not as frequently as on my N10+

I'll admit that it has been getting better, but it's still annoying that it is taking 2-3 seconds on about 7 out of 10 tries. And it's those 3 that I really need into the phone (of course it happens that way).

I just hope it keeps getting better.

If all else fails just give your thumb a nice wet lick and your good to go.

It's weird, but yes that moisture does often help except that I usually try to find other ways to moisten it if that's the case. :) It doesn't help my prints are very light. It always takes a number of tries when they fingerprint me at work.
