Just strange how it works for some and not for others. Almost sounds like there may be issues with variances in the screens.
So far, my one star Amazon review hasn't been posted.
Would anyone have the guts to go with a non-Whitestone product? I'm considering it, as 50 bucks for a screen protector is ludicrous.

I just wish I knew how people are doing. Are they doing on how the video I posted is shown, or are they doing it a different way?
I installed based on the Whitestone video
Here's another video. I just don't know if people can't read, are to lazy to look back at pages in this thread, or are afraid to do it. I did it this way and it works perfectly [I do not have a Whitestone screen protector on mine I took it off, because it was horrible]. Other people have done it the way I and the youtube person said to do and it is working great for them and me.
Plus, how do does this youtube guy have a notification light on his phone?
EDIT: Maybe I should add the youtube video.

Good question on the led light Probably download a app for that.
I have that foggyness on the top of mine too, and it didn't show up until more than a day later. Everything looked absolutely perfect and then it just showed up.I'm a fan of Whitestone but not on this phone. I'm on my second application with the same results as the 1st installation. It is an absolute chore to get a fingerprint registered and once entered, the scanner rarely recognizes my fingerprint on the 1st try. Takes at least 3 attempts. And, the very tippy top of the screen protector is foggy just like on the 1st install. It doesn't affect anything when the screen is on but it is annoying to see when the screen is off.
The pic below is a near perfect install except for the obvious. The dust is on top of protector.

I'm not going to get too excited yet, but Verizon just put out an update today and I just installed it. Then I deleted my fingerprints and did them again and it was super easy to get them in this time, recognizing just about every press, and my phone is unlocking mostly the first time now without wetting my finger first. I'll give it a few days to test it good with the screen protector.
I am going to try a third install though because of the foggy strip at the top. I've never had that happen before. I wonder what that is. The install was flawless.
Yea, it's going to take all my patience today not to rip it off before my work day is done. Thought it was better but today it won't work again if I don't wet my thumb first and I'm not doing that every time I want to open my phone.I ripped it off today. Going for a 3rd install as well. I am also contemplating using a wet install protector like ArmorSuit which I have used successfully in the past. I feel like a guinea pig right now.
No faster recognition option on my phone.
That's only for facial recognition if I recall
His video is showing it under Fingerprints. I don't see it on my S10+.

I did I bought a liquid one. So far so good. FPS works great According to some people the liquid screen protector is a hoax .
It's not that it's a hoax. It simply cannot prevent screen breakage. It may help prevent scratches and they are offering you a warranty in case it breaks.
