Who is done waiting and jumping to the 32GB Galaxy S4 on Verizon

I am holding out to see what the x phone is like and pricing. With the announcement how htc is leaving the one s out to dry for further updates it just shows once again they will not really work with updates and the htc one may suffer the same fate with getting 1 update than no more. The one may be a nicer phone according to the "tech crowd" because it is aluminum but I have had too many bad experiences with HTC so it is either the x phone or the s4 for me now.

Samsung honestly doesn't know how to make a quality phone. Its pathetic. Samsung has never heard the word 'QUALITY'. The AMOLED screen is grainy, it has animation stutter everywhere ("lag"), signal issues, wimpy speaker, poor headphone audio quality...bleh.

I couldn't care less about the plastic body, its fine...it goes into a case on day one anyway. Its everything else that Samsung fails at.

I really hope HTC has some special version for the Verizon release, more memory/bigger battery would be nice. I also hope I hear more about the Moto X or RAZR before I buy.

I'm definitely waiting for this thing and really hoping Verizon hurries up. I'm using an S4 now and people that don't say it lags either got really lucky or have a great ROM on it. Mine lags and I'm running CleanROM. It doesn't lag all the time, but if multiple things are going on (like typing and getting a notification at the same time) it'll type some random crap or you'll hit the same thing three or four times because your press doesn't appear to register, only to have it catch up and register all four presses a few seconds later.

Call me a conspiracist but it seems this delayed release and the Moto leaks are set up to help big red support its long term buddy Motorola.

HTC will be updating the One S as long as it supports the One X. So it will see 4.2.2. Just updating you and letting you know! Good luck with whatever phone you end up getting!

I feel like by the time this phone comes out, the next hot new phone will be just on the horizon...anyone know what that will be? I know it will probably get announced the day after I buy my verizon htc one....

Motorola phones should be updating soon I would think for the Droid line on Verizon.

As much as I wanted the HTC One, I could not wait any longer because my Thunderbolt was not working well. I've had the S4 for almost 2 weeks and I really do like it. I will have to see what HTC has available next time around.

Had my 32GB S4 Almost 2 weeks. Awesome experience so far

Same here. Got my 32 GB 2 weeks ago and I am in love with it. The 5 inch screen is beautiful and rooted w/ eclipse ROM makes it lagless. HTC One is a great phone, but vzw dropped the ball. All eyes will be on the Sept phones when its finally released...

There is some reason Verizon is delaying it thats for sure and its no their usual lie that they need to get it ready for their network. So far i can't get myself to pull the trigger on an S4. That cheap plastic, garish screen, Touchwiz, and poor quality are holding me back. I've come close but just haven't been able to stomach it.

I have an S4 and it's actually quite good (screen, size, weight, build) . . . except for the touch wiz and general os freezing up problems which are a deal killer for me.

Had mine two weeks now coming from a iPhone 4S. Loving the biggr screen, and the freedom to setup as I like.

Went to Nova Launcher and it is a big improvement over Touchwiz.

Still getting things set up for optimal for me. Trying to add only 1 or 2 apps per day to my S4 to be able to setup each one right.

I'm so tired of Verizon dragging their feet with the release of the One that I'm gonna keep rocking my T-Bolt even when the One comes out. Then when My T-bolt dies I might go back to Dumb phone and save $90 a month (we have 3 Bolts)and $2160 for a 24 month contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm waiting it out, I just like the One better than the S4.
Plus, I find it funny that I'm lusting after a phone that's still on 4.1.2, while I've been on 4.2.2 for longer than I can remember on my rooted Galaxy Nexus.

Also, coming from pure Jelly Bean on a Google phone. with what little playing around I've done between the S4 and One, I just prefer Sense to Touch Wiz.

I agree with you Jeff43 Sense is way better than touch wiz!!!!

Its either the One, X or employee edition ultra for me. Preferably the X or the One because the shiny Kevlar on the Droid is horrifying.
