who is using S2 with a non-Samsung phone?

I bailed on the Note 4 and got a Nexus, but I was a big fan of previous Gear watches.

Any early adopters using a Nexus or something other than a Samsung phone?

Using it with a Moto X 2014. Aside from not being able to reply to text messages (yet) on the S2 it seems to be working fine. Transferred photos. Downloaded apps from Samsung Gear store. Not sure what won't function yet (outside of Samsung Pay). So far, enjoying it. More refined in many ways than Android Wear. Do miss Google Now cards.

I can reply to texts (Messenger or Handcent) just fine on my Nexus 5.

Able to reply to texts using Hangouts. Not able to using Evolve SMS, my way preferred text app.

Using a Gear S2 with my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

So far works almost perfect.

Using Textra for my SMS app and I can receive and reply to texts from watch fine.

I am also receiving phone call notifications fine and am able to respond with a quick reply as well.

I am having an issue with S Health. Everyday at the end of the day the watch stops syncing my steps to my S Health app on the phone, The only way to get it to start syncing again is to uninstall the S Health app on my phone and re-install it.

A real pain. I am also having an issue of the Nike Running app on the watch not getting a GPS signal from my my phone.
