Who is using their S7 Edge without screen protection????

I've gone through 5 screen protectors and am really thinking about going no protection... it's frustrating that there's really no good protectors out there

My Zagg HD is messed up and I am wanting a different protector or to go without one and take it off. My husband got one for like 8 bucks off Amazon forgot the name and said he liked it but wished he had gotten an extra one so the 1st one could of been like a practice putting it on. It was one mentioned on here. Than I bought these 2 off Groupon and decided not to use mine after reading reviews on Amazon and he dropped his phone and his cracked so now he is without protector. My Zagg just out of the blue has this bubble at the bottom now I am thinking of going without one too until a better one shows up somewhere.

I have the Zagg HD too. Actually, I've had two. I messed up the first trying to trim it just a bit to work with my case. More on that below.

While it's probably decent screen protection, I don't much like the "not glass" feeling. I got spoiled by glass on my previous devices, and there just seems to be something wrong with the fact that there isn't a decent TGSP for this thing. I understand the why, but it doesn't make this plastic Zagg feel any better. I have to wonder why the TGSP for this device doesn't have adhesive on the entire sheet of glass. The TGSP for my other devices (all flat screens) were fully covered with adhesive. Why is this one just on the edges?

I am using my phone with a Spigen Neo-Hybrid Crystal case. It is a TPU case with a plastic ring. The Zagg plastic screen protector gets pushed up at the upper corners just like the GPEL TGSP (since returned). I'd hate to think that Edge owners have to choose between decent screen protection or a decent case, but not both. If it really is one or the other, I'd have to lean toward using no screen cover.

Finally after showing the Zagg Kiosk my bubble that appeared the girl replaced it for 6 bucks to put it on so I was happy. When the screen is off and it's black I don't see as many of these lines neither that I saw before and it looks so much better now, My edges were messed up and I am still leary on putting my case back on and which one but it's been 24 hours so I am going top try my symmetry. I have the Samsung S flip case and a Spigen thin armore I think it's called it has a kickstand.

Funny that you should mention the Symmetry. I also tried one of those, and had the same trouble with the top corners of the Zagg plastic screen protector. The Symmetry went back and I replaced it with a Commuter. It's not much bigger than the Symmetry, but the interior cushioning is a lot better. The best part is that the Commuter liner come up over the device corners by enough that the plastic screen protector doesn't get pushed up. I may have found something that works.

I put my case back on last night noticed a small spot in one corner so I took the Symmetry off for now and pushed the corner down and put my Samsung S flip case on gonna use it for a bit. I also have this Spigen with a kickstand thin armor it made be called I wonder how it will do. I don't really like the dlip cover when I am in the car cause of my dock. The Spigen is similar to my Symmetry I think I just tried it and saw another messed up corner spot so Samsung flip for now it is.

I was just in best buy at the Samsung kiosk and was told that zagg has admitted to the flaw of the protector for the S7E. basically, it's not case friendly. however, I'm not buying anymore, I think I stopped at 5 about 2 months back, and Iove the way my phone feels without a protective screen. I have zero scratches, and I'm. Free to use any case I want. However, especially when the screen is off, you will see the fingerprints, but I've learned to live with that, AND I carry a microfiber cloth with me at all times...!

Doing just fine without a protector on mine. I have my suspicions that companies post here with "this phone scratches easily" posts to sell their crappy pretectors on line.

No longer buying it.

I want to go without one but I did notice that the back of my phone has a couple small scratches on it. I believe that it is the same glass that is on the front and those scratches on the front would drive me nuts. I'm having a difficult time finding a screen protector that feels good and works with a case. I've probably had 8 different protectors on in the last 3-4 months.

Spent $20 on one, installed it and immediately tore it off again. There was an issue with the glue making certain parts of the screen insensitive and it was impossible to remedy. A new protector and a little more care could probably have done it. But it is not worth it IMHO. I use an INCIPIO protector that actually does a good job at protecting the screen without covering it.

5 months ago when i got the phone, i went to a phone store. There i asked for S6 edge screen protectors. They have generic unbranded 5$ plastic ones.

I asked the salesman to show me the screen protector, he pulled the screen protector from a plastic bag which contains lot more generic unbranded S6 edge screen protectors. I was surprised to know that it feels very smooth. Bought it and asked the salesman to apply it. It was a perfect fit, the edges are protected and its very case friendly.

Until now, the plastic screen protector didnt peel off, but it has a lot but hard to scratches.

Generic, cheap, unbranded ones doesn't mean its worse than expensive branded ones.

I never used screen protector in any of my phones, and I'm not gonna start now, with this beautiful S7 Edge screen.

Basically everyone in the edge forum is going screen protector less haha.

I'm currently rocking the UAG featherlight composite case with a Skinomi Techskin Sccreen Protector. Personally, I think the techskin has done a good job of protecting my device. It doesn't have terrible rainbowing, in fact hardly at all. For 8 dollars, for 2 protectors, it isn't a terrible price. I've had this protector on for 2 months, and it does well with cases, though the Supcase UBP squeezes tight and causes mild stretching. The protectors are wet install, and there's no better phone equipped for a WET installation. I wish there was a tempered glass or even a fancy nanofilm or rhino shield, but I'd much prefer the clear rubbery protector over a glass, faulty-sensitivity, painted protector any day. I wish they made REAL tempered glass protectors for this phone that had adhesive all over. I don't understand why they don't. My G4 had a curved display (concave as opposed to convex) and those worked just fine. Come on MFGs, you can do so much better than this. I'll be waiting.

I had a glass screen protector on when I first got my end but it distorted the screen and reduced the responsiveness of the capacitive keys and some of the keys of the keyboard. After a few days I had to take it off. Now I'm not using a screen protector. Something I haven't done since 2010.I have a spigen clear case and a skip wallet. I might get the clear case to protect the screen.

Has anyone had marks on their screen from earrings?!? (Little silver hoops is all, no diamonds or anything) Not actual scratches but I see marks when my screen is off and they drive me nuts, is there any way to buff them out?? Very disappointed as this never happened on my S5, ever. (Without a screen protector)

Has anyone tried the otterbox defender for the s7 edge? It has a plastic screen protector built in. I've been wanting to try it but don't wanna drop the money on it to have it not work.

After going protector less on mine for awhile, I noticed a small scratch (only viewable in a certain angle), but now that I know its there, it ticks me off. I applied the Invisible shield HD 2 nights ago to prevent any further.

I have gone through 5 Zagg HD protectors every time I put a case on it the edges curl a day or two later they bubble up.

I am now trying to decide to go without a case or to go with the screen unprotected
