Who resisted and who wishes they'd resisted?

It's okay, but low light photos are not as good as with the Note 2. There have been a few threads on this.

Id gladly sacrifice lowlight photos which are a no no with a camera phone anyway for more vivid shots and image stabilization. I love the camera

No extra effort is required to send the fingerprint you scan in to the NSA either lol. I'm sure they could have a field day with this. Use fingerprint scanning to Id a criminal then the gps to hunt you down.

It is stored on the Samsung built a7 chip. But anyway, if you don't want to use it, fine. I was just addressing the previous poster who said that fingerprint scanners were more trouble than they are worth.

I was one of the original people that thought upgrade for what? But as soon as I started to read about the 3, I made the upgrade ....and I won't ever regret it. I was the first to buy my Note 3 at my local T-Mobile the first day it came out and my phone has been running smooth. I gave my Note II to my hubby and he can't keep his hands off of it. He came from a S4, but previous to that had an Iphone 4s...... he complained soo much for that switch wanted to go back to I-phone... I managed to stick him with the Note II (so I can get the 3...he he) and he is in love. He never understood my fascination with "such a big screen phone". I do think the camera on the II is better than the 3, but I'm just trying to snap pictures in a moment in time.....I'm not a professional photographer and if I was I don't think I would take pics on a phone...it would be on a high end camera. And when the 4 comes out, I will get it too.... I'm not even going to lie to myself...:p

Like I've posted in other threads, I've waited for the Note 3 ever since January and I'm definitely happy with it. I had a Note 2 at one point and I definitely prefer the Note 3.

Ended up resisting here. I'm content to stick with the Note 2 and wait for the Note 4 which I feel will be a more compelling upgrade, in particular screen size (if they stick with the .2 bump each iteration, it should be 5.9" :)).

I absolutely adore my Note 3. Passed down the Note 2 to my dil. I can charge once a day (while watching my favorite recorded show) and have power all the time! Charges super fast. I have multiple emails and suicidal networking sites as well as notes and memos in use for work all day. Never a lag or stutter. Rooted and froze a few bloat apps and couldn't be happier :-)

Suicidal networks? I laughed until I cried at myself. Gotta love autocorrect!

Yes, because there is no way stuff stored on a chip can be clandestinely sent to any database on the planet...no way whatsoever.

There's a rumor that Apple shares their database with NSA. Not sure if that's true or just a satire.

Lol forget what I have just said. It was a stupid joke to make fun of the fingerprint scanner.

You make me question if my attempt at sarcasm translated without the use of emoticons or the sarcasm tag.

But whether the NSA thing is true or not, my whole point was it is definitely possible to transfer any data anywhere without anyone knowing...big brother and his/her enemies have gotten good at that. Whether it is happening or not is anyone's guess. :)

That was a mistake. Anyway, the NSA already has all of your information so either way, they can get it if they want.

I fit in the former category. I was hell bent on upgrading from II to III but I'm somewhat glad I resisted now. Whilst the III is a nice piece of kit, I feel Samsung missed a beat with it. No fingerprint scanner, no wireless charging to name a couple. It also feels rushed out. There's a number of QA issues, the wonky home button for one.

I think I'll hold out and see what the IV will offer. Rumours already floating about.

I love the phone. No regrets for me. The finger print scanner for me is a gimmick. Just as much as the face recognition when that was released.

Its just a waste of battery power and beside, I will always flash a custom ROM and that takes away most features.

IPhone had to do that with the finger print because they just keep Putting the same product out over and over with tiny little cosmetic tweeks,, nothing ground breaking anymore.. So far everyone I know who got the new iPhone I have asked "so, what do you like about the new iPhone?" all any of them can say is "well, the finger print feature is so cool".. Ok,, well enjoy unlocking your device,, I'll enjoy everythng my device can do.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

This is funny as heck. I'm not an apple hater by any means but it's still funny. Apple is good at what it does don't get me wrong. They make super reliable hardware and software. Not cutting edge or revolutionary anymore. But they don't need to either.

Nonetheless have fun unlocking your phone is classic.

I am still happy with my note 2 but if I do switch carriers like I plan then I will upgrade to the 3
