Who resisted and who wishes they'd resisted?

Yeah, the note 3 supports wireless charging with the wireless back. Even the Verizon version does by default unlike the Verizon Note II, which required a physical hack

The note 3 is my first android and I can say I love it. Only issue other poor service with ATT is the wifi which doesn't get a signal very far from the router but I can live with that. As for finger scanners they are way to easy to crack so I'd never use one anyway. Only other thing I don't like is no otterbox yet. Wasn't going to get the phone until this case was out but I was in Best buys talking to the samsung rep when he said they just got one phone in so I jumped on it. Now it will be going back before the 14 days because ATT doesn't want to own up to the signal issues they are having in my area. Every time I meet somebody else in my home town and ask about what service they have and if they say ATT they also say they are having trouble

I don't understand this fascination with finger print scanners but oh well. And I thought this phone does have a wireless charging case (another feature I don't understand).
I've never owned a Note so it wasn't really an issue for me on comparing the 2 and 3. I DO NOT regret buying this phone :) All in all, just do what's best for yourself.

So the s view cases all have wireless charging built in? Does the wallet one as well? Is it qi charging?

There are two version of almost every cover; wireless and non-wireless. All of the wireless versions are ever so slightly thicker.

It is Qi charging. I am actually using a Nokia Qi bases with the Samsung cover.

Why are ppl wanting finger scanner? I read ppl complaining about the lag on unlocking the screen. A finger scanner would make the lag even longer. Camera works fine. Home button does shuffle around but won't fall out. I haven't had any speaker or choppy phone calls. As for wireless charging they make accessories right. Plus it would make the phone bulkier. Either way if the new note comes out I would just sell this one and get the new phone lol

My Note 3 had the wonky home button issues. I ended up finding a great deal for a gold 5s (which will have amazing resale value) which I'll hang onto until Samsung gets the production of these Note 3s down pat. You have to expect hardware issues with the first and second run of any new device as the manufacturing process hasn't been perfected yet. I definitely feel the Note 3 is a worthwhile upgrade to the Note 2 though. The Note 2 suddenly feels like a fisher price toy once you've had the Note 3.

I went for it, my first early adoptee. I haven't had any of the problems everyone has mentioned in the forums. The screen is useable in daylight, the speaker is loud, no cracking. Wi-Fi is strong, no real issues on 3-4G. Camera is nice and you can turn off the shutter sound now by silencing the phone, finally!

I still have my Note 2 but gave it to my husband so he can share in the love, lol.

I do have BAS, battery anxiety syndrome, :p so I'm waiting on a 7500 battery to ease my anxiety.

Otherwise, since I'm on the One Up program, the Note 2 will have an upgrade in June, so I'll have 2 upgrades available by the next launch of the Note 4. :D

I dont get the hype over a fingerprint scanner. If anything is gimicky on a phone, its a fingerprint scanner but thats just me. Im glad I got mine on day one because ive had 0 issues with mine so far. My home button is fine, the call quality is good when I have service and my wifi works better than it did on the note 2 so im good.

They could make a retina scanner and I would not care,, I don't lock my screen. Finger print? Come on

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

I had the Note 2 for over 2 months before I sold it to a guy who was happy to get off one of the first 4G LTE phones. The more I read about the 3, the more I just had to get it, and honestly, I am glad I did. I knew that being one of the first to get this phone had inherent risks, but I have not seen any nonsense come from my phone (in fact, not so much my phone but two cases for my phone had issues, but that's another story.)

I am very happy with my phone and I promise myself, when the Note 4 comes out, I will not buy it. I can keep the Note 3 for two years or more and NEVER complain, provided there are O/S updates, and such. I had to retire my Droid Charge (two hour battery life sucks) via extended warranties and I LOVE that they replaced the Droid Charge with a Galaxy S3. Still...while it made the wife happy, I wanted the Note 3. Still have my extra S3 when Verizon swapped that out that I'm trying to sell. I just got that Mophie Juice Pack deal from groupon where it was like 39.99 or something...hoping that will move my S3 quickly... :D

In any event, I love my Note 3, and no regrets. People (and I'm not necessarily calling out anyone though if you want to include yourself, feel free...) want to find fault with something for the sake of finding fault with something. Me, I'm more reactive in that regard. If I can't see a flaw, then I won't look for one. But once I see it, then I try to do something about it. But I won't go b'ching about something because someone, someplace heard a rumor about some issue that MIGHT NOT even be affecting them. That's just dumb.

I always had a reason to get the latest because my phone had some issue I just couldn't solve with an app or those lousy updates. I just didn't have a good reason to upgrade, my Note 2 is the best smartphone I've had and I can't let it go! I wonder did some just upgrade because, the Note 2 forums are dead no one had real issues. I'm trolling Note 3 forums just for some action.
All the newbies who never experienced the Notes capabilities "good for you"and I hope you enjoy!

I like the note 3 so far, this is my first note experience. I am considering a Nexus 5 as my main phone but worried about the battery life it will offer. My Nexus 4 is horrible with battery and the Note 3, for my daily use, gets 5 hours screen time.

Note2 amazing screen, etc etc etc.

Maybe in your dreams, but in reality that nearly HD resolution is way too low for the screen size. And that is just one of the things Note2 is not having while Note3 has, but a game stopper for me.

Great device great screen, great colors,, great camera, great speed,,,, so it's far and away better than my note 2

I love my note 3 glad I graduated from the 2. It does everything getting gear next. All that & a bag of chips
P.s. it does have wireless charging you just need to buy the qi pad for the battery.

Had the 5s.... the fingerprint scanner is neutered if you ask me. For now, unlocking the phone and authorizing app store purchases is all it can do. If and when apple allows third party devs access then it will present more opportunities good and bad.

As far as unlocking goes, I much prefer the "trusted device" implementation that is available on the Moto-X and new Droid series. I was pleased to see Samsung does the same thing with the Galaxy Gear too. As long as my GG is connected to my N3, the phone will not lock. Once it is disconnected, then a PIN is required to unlock the phone. Additionally if you reboot the phone, you are required to enter a PIN once even if you have a GG.

There are a couple of apps in the play store that can do the same thing thru bluetooth and wifi SSID that dont require a GG to work.
